I was in HS 82-86' and the main type of weed was what we called "sess" "seis"? I don't know how to spell it. Red hair sess, mex sess, etc. You could get skunk bud, or thai stick/bud, which was stronger. From what I hear now, all of the weed is majorly potent. What changed? Why is that?

well its pretty obvious. back then they didnt harvest when the bud has the most THC, it would just start budding and they would just cut it down with hardly any thc on it. also with the invention of genetics, you can clone plants, to produce higher THC content.

I'm not vehemently opposed to marijuana either, but having used it I'm somewhat in agreement with John, as far as his opinions about its utility. One of the most poignant comments he made was when he described Woodstock as looking like something out of Dante's Inferno. In terms of narcotics' failure to elevate the human soul, I think he was right on the mark.
