  • Oh I love him! Though this is sometimes hard to watch. You have to love him all the more. I love that spot at :45 where he sings "my life's been just a show" and then grins at the the camera! Dying, being eaten a live by a terrible disease, and our Freddie was still that wonderful show man that loved his fans so much! I miss you so much Freddie! I wish you could come back for one more show! I will always love you!

  • i love the fact that Freddie says "i still love you" at the end.

it was his last words on camera, something that will be cherished forever.

  • @OneGoalOneMission Why I often end my comments on his videos as I still love you, or I will always love you. I also use C'est La Vie, that was another one he often used. He often said I still love you to live crowds during concerts. Check out Queen-Wembley-1986 Saturday, he says it at least twice.

  • That last look at the camera .... it was good bye forever. Freddie, you still live in our hearts.

  • Ever the entertainer, Mercury went out with style, grace and class. When he looks at the camera and whispers "I love you", the atmosphere soars. We love you too, Freddie; we love you too.

  • Saw this video right after he passed. It was so "close to home" for me. My best friend was dying at the time, and now it's been twenty years since he passed. The video brought me to my knees with grief, confusion, and anger at what was happening at that time. Now I can look at it again and smile while crying. Freddie was a true artist, as my friend was too. The legacy they both left to me and others, is irreplaceable and cherished.

  • Not only was Freddie saying good bye, he was forgiving the misfortune's he'd encountered; "The bad thing's in life were so few", pretty strong word's coming from a man living out a death sentence. Where he got the strength "I just don't know"! God bless you Farrokh!

  • R!P Freddie with yo sexy ass much love G.

  • Ugh so sad watching this song & how much pain he was in, I wish he had been born when there were more drugs that can keep you alive for so much longer now.

He was a rare talent & that is why we are still talking & listening to him all these years later, his talent & amazing songs he wrote will live on forever & impact young fans for the rest of our lives & theirs, when you have teens coming here & saying these things then you know your life has made a true difference, that was Freddie!

  • @Zelinna12

In life, all that has any meaning is the fact that we mattered. Gone twenty years and still has the ability to make us rock, or make us cry....job well done!

    Freddie mattered.

  • It's like Freddie was saying "Goodbye" in this music video.

I LOVE Queen, And I'm pretty young 14 (but that doesn't really matter)

But, It's pretty sad music isn't like this anymore.

His music is very powerful, others' music cannot compare.

Freddie Mercury, thank you for the amazing music, you are gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten, you're a true Legend. <3

  • @ShelbySyke ..from what I read..he basicly was saying goodgye...this was the last video he made...he had two ther songs he was working on but couldn't finish, cause he was too sick,,but his here was indeed his last video, and I think he knew when we whispered"I still Love you"

  • 20 years later we still love you Freddie.

Hey everyone pray that Lady Gaga doesn't become the new singer for Queen because she will ruin Queens image and she will never be able to replace Freddie, no one can.

  • i cant believe it's 20 years today that we lost this amazing man! :) still miss you freddie and love you always

  • At the end of the song he sais he still loves you, and we still love you. R.I.P Freddy Mercury you were a great loss to the world of music.

  • Even a few months before his death, he still looked great without the moustache and (Later) beard, even though he was iconic with it. I can just imagine him being very pale, which is probably why they went with the black and white video, to cover up the fact that he was painfully gaunt and wasting away.

  • @DXAshram True. The main reason for the black and white concept was Mercury was wearing a lot of makeup to cover the blemishes from the Kaposi Sarcoma (common in AIDS patients) on his face, neck, and hands.

  • This dude is truly a legend.. and inspired many wow... im so embrassed to say i didnt even know that he "Queen/the bank", did we will rock you, we are the champions and so many more dang r.i.p. man

  • @2wisdom3 Wow, you did not know? Queen had huge hits and they wrote all their songs & wrote all their music. Freddie wrote "Crazy Little Think Called Love" right after Elvis died. People think it was Elvis' song & even Elvis fans say that if Elvis were alive he would want to sing the song.

John Deacon, the bassist, wrote "Another One Bites the Dust". He retired after Freddie passed. He knew that Freddie can never be replaced. Freddie's songwriting, music arranging, stage presence, etc.

  • When I grow older I will be there at your side to remind you how I still love you.

    I still love you.

We miss you Freddie. We still love you.

  • @kkkatie00

    Amen.

  • @kkkatie00 We will always love you! I just wish that first line could have been true.

  • He literally snag this while he was dying. Thank you so much Freddy Mercury.

  • His last on-camera appearance, 6 months before his death, and he is still an impeccable singer.

    He is missed.

  • Look at how skinny his is here. It's sad to know that this was his last appearance.

  • absolutely Haunting

  • I sang this song for an audition for a children's musical. The instructor was very impressed with the choice of song (not my singing, haha I wasn't that good). He said, for my age (23), that I have great taste in music.

  • The incredible lyrics were written by Roger Taylor and Freddie's voice is still hautingly powerful and Brian made playing guitar seems so easy. Queen is just incredible.

  • 0:44

  • @queensavedme funny!

  • Amazing man- the world remembers you, Freddie.

  • @ShowThe9 How was it his fault?

  • @cloud6060 he did things with a guy.. but i still respect him

  • @ShowThe9 So what's wrong with being bi-sexual?

  • @ShowThe9Explain how it was his fault.

  • @gollapr he did stuff with a guy

  • @ShowThe9 Would it be better if he was not gay?

  • @ShowThe9 It wasn't, It was just a coincidence, Now stop being an asshole

  • @lemanz23 i am not and it is not COINCIDENCE!

  • @ShowThe9 YES IT FUCKING IS, HE GOT AIDS FROM SOMETHING ELSE, IT ISNT ONLY POSSIBLE THROUGH SEX DUMBSHIT

  • @lemanz23 it is probably 99% that he did do it

  • @ShowThe9 you can't get aids yourself, something gives it to you.

  • @lemanz23 yah a man!

  • @lemanz23 you cannot get aids from saliva or anything like that.... the only other way to get it other than sex is if you get it into your blood such as a blood transfusion , and freddy mercury was gay, and there is nothing wrong with that you are who you are

  • happy bday

  • Happy 65th Birthday! RIP Freddie.

  • Happy 65Tth Bday!

  • Happy 65th Birthday Freddie Mercury! I can't believe that this song came out during my Senior year of High School and to think that I found out about his passing moments after I attended an LA Laker game, Wow. RIP

  • Happy Birthday Freddie!!!! RIP

  • happy birthday Freddie, I love you

  • Happy 65th Birthday Freddie RIP <3

  • Yo, Happy Birthday Freddie

  • Just the other day I caught on the Biography channel a replay of Queen and of Freddie Mercury. They said this was the last video he had done. At the end it seems like he is doing his epitaph. Kind of like what happened with Johnny Cash and his cover of "Hurt". Knowing that now it just brings a tear to my eye.

At the end here it's like he is saying goodbye for the last time to his fans.

  • @SuperMarlinsfan lol I thought it was The Beatles not "The Beatals"

  • This is so saddening.

  • I am 13, and I'm so glad my father fed me REAL music. Not like this bubble gum "music" they make today. Queen, Led Zepplin, The Beatals, and all of them, they made real music. Very few artists today, keep the real music alive just like it was in Freddie's time. I love Freddie, I love them all. I wish I could have seen Freddie when he was alive. He was the best, and will be today, tomorrow, and forever. R.I.P Freddie, we will miss you forever.

  • The best voice in music. Still. Love you and miss you Freddie.

  • it's depressing to see how sick he looks here:(

  • @MissMustache007 No it is not depressing, inspiring this is.

  • @superunt43 how? i love this song but i am just saying that is depressing to see an amazing talent like his be ended and for him to look sooo fragile.

  • @MissMustache007 Yes I know, but I must argue I loved Freddie as much as anyone else. The man inspired me to be better than I am. Of course I miss him. I knew before he made his sickness public something was very wrong. Innuendo, English definition in part is "hint". Of course it hurt me to see him in that manner. How? you ask? He inspired me to look at life differently. Inspiration comes from many sources if we all "look" "listen". And it has NOTHING to do with religion.

  • @superunt43 wow. very inspirational i must agree:)

  • @MissMustache007 He still lives. He is here with me in my memory, yours. How many can say that? My art has nothing to do with music. I can't play the radio without static, LOL. He inspired a change within me. Depressing? No, absolutely not. His message still lives, hence not depressing.

  • @superunt43 magical! and inspiring:)

  • RIP Freddie. We will never forget you!

  • not all teens listen to justin bieber im 13 and i know who freddie and eric clapton how many teens say that ps aids suck and freddie should still be alive

  • watching this video makes me sad because you see how sick freddie looks:(

  • Farrokh Bulsara..pure perfect beautiful voice..designed the bands logo picked the name in part cause its absolute, powerful. I am lucky I saw Queen in concert in the 70's twice 4 amazing musicians so much talent in one place very rare Brian May guitar master Roger Tayor great drummer John Deacon great on bass all of them brilliant songwriters no one put on a show like they did just blew me away Freddie Mercury best frontman ever off stage shy sweet he did what he loved till the end I miss him

  • I've never cried over a song until I heard this song. Something about it just touched me inside. I think what makes me so sad is that Freddie realized he was going to die soon, and knowing that is terribly sad. I'm 15 and I love Queen. It takes a lot to make me cry. And this song did it to me. Thank you Freddie and Queen. RIP Freddie. I love you and what you've done. :)

  • @Betz1730 It takes a lot for me to shed a tear as well. Did I shed a tear over this man? You bet the ranch I did. I do so love TALENT. I do so enjoy those who are the absolute best at what they do. Freddie was an absolute monumental talent.

  • @superunt43 He really was full of great talent! I wish that I could've grown up when he was still alive. But sadly that can't happen. But not matter what I still listen to his music and appreciate how wonderful it was. Queen is my favorite band, Freddie Mercury my favorite singer of all time. He's one of my inspirations.

  • @Betz1730 heyy dido im a HUGE QUEEN FAN I LOVE THEM its like hes saying goodbye

  • this song makes me sad..I have been a Queen fan since 1975..I saw them in concert in both '77 and '78..Freddie Mercury had the most purely perfect voice I have ever heard..he was the best front man EVER..when he came out on that stage.he grabbed you and took you along on this amazing ride..he wrote some of the best songs I have ever heard..he designed Queens logo and chose their name in part cause its regal ,absolute..they lived up to it .Freddie was a talented beautiful man..I miss him

  • FREDDIE MERCURY FUCKIN ROCKS THOSE VOCALS OH MY HE KILLS IT

  • You can't turn back the clock (to 1991)

You can't turn back the tide (the fight between you and AIDS)

    Ain't that a shame, Freddie?

Those days are all gone now but one thing's still true

When we look, and we find

    We still miss you, Freddie

    RIP

  • miss you Freddie :(

I remember seeing you and your band in 82'

  • Whether or not something is "real music" is completely based on opinion. There are no standards in music, just about anything can be considered music. Just becuase a type of music doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean it's bad music, it just means you don't like it.

  • His voice's mesmerizing here...he's mesmerizing. The older he got the softer and more beautiful his voice got...the more beautiful he became.

  • Freddie was precious and beautiful no matter what stage of his life. Thank you.

  • Did you guys know that Disney produced this video?

  • The last words Freddie gave to us: "I still love you"

    I can't believe he's been gone for 20 years

    R.I.P. Freddie Mercury 1946-1991

  • I wish I could have been born just a little sooner to see a live Queen concert. Freddie Mercury, you have been my hero ever since I was a little girl. You and Brian and John and Roger will always be the princes of my universe.

  • freddie almost kinda has an mj feel right here...

    two legends, reguardless

  • Oh God...I almost cried when he whispered, "I still love you" I love you more, rock angel! <3 <3

  • @BlackorWhite0920 He's quoting from "Love of My Life." This is a very hard bit of film to watch.

  • I still love you my dear Hero.

  • This video is a stroke of genius as much as it is tragic. Freddie Mercury left this world entirely too soon. He lives on in the music of Queen & in our hearts.

and I agree with @RobzFanpire, F**k You, AIDS!

  • @COPMMUSIC How is that in even the slightest way funny?

  • @COPMMUSIC That is terribly unfunny. Enjoy hell.

  • @COPMMUSIC sounds like you're pretty familiar with the buttsecks, asshole..

  • Freddie, we still love you.

  • This song was my sister and my favorite song...I love you Jennie! where are you?

  • was there anyone who could have possibly disliked Freddie Mercury? I don't think thats possible, reply to me if you agree. RIP FREDDIE, WE LOVE YOU AND I HOPE YOUR LOOKING DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND READING THIS!!!!! RIP RIP!!!

  • @boisenowatonna only homophobic Xtain 'Merkan haters, of which there are nay, sadly...freddie was/ is a legend and a bright shining star that still lives on thru his incredible music

  • oh my gosh beasst94, I totally agree with you, Justin Beiber, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, take all those creeps and give us back Freddie!!! oh, but also you know the saying, the good ones leave first, the bad stay and think about what they've done, its something like that, well, at least Freddie is better off in Heaven.

  • He died in his footsteps, like Bob Dylan said it, "Let Me Die in My Footsteps"

  • Thumbs up if you want this song to played at your funeral!!

  • One of the most beautiful guitar solos ever played.

  • @VIDEOHEREBOB I know right! I love listening to the solo, its inspiring

  • must have been hard for them to see him like that and only they knew why he was so sick. to watch him go thru this. and then to tell every one one day before passing. it was a terrible loss. i love there music and my son does too.

  • AIDS: Kills Fags Dead™

  • @M45terMiNd it could also kill you if you're not careful

  • I wish I was born in the 80s. The music now just doesn't compare.

  • god please give us freddie back, you can have lady gaga and justin bieber

  • He went out on his terms, despite how sick he was. I read that too... the fact that he could barely stand...... he was very weak. For all those people who say he hid in the shadows when he got sick...... they never watched this video obviously. I don't see Freddie hiding, do you?

  • d'awww this makes me want to cry so much!!! All the effort Freddie put in and it turned out amazing, truly a great song, truly a great video, Freddie put in all he had just for his fans, no one can live up to Freddie Mercury!!! We will always miss that flamboyant, entertaining, lovable, and AMAZING singer, artist, and most importantly, that angel <3 Only the good die young

  • There was and will be only one Freddy. Such a great showman and a special person he is truly missed.

  • Freddie's art was built on so much witty, sly innuendo even in lyrics on earliest albums - shades of wilde & coward:) the haters conveniently ignore this man put his emaciated figure in Headlong & esp. TATDOOL, IAGSM almost as truthful documents of the artist @ end of his life. the courage to be judged, scrutinized on basis of his voice, music, band, performance, AURA in living life itself no matter how good/bad - NOT private life to which he's entitled to.

  • "I still love you."

Freddie Mercury could not have left us with any more loving or powerful words. RIP.

  • heart so sweet rest in peace mr bad guy

  • What an amazing man to do this with such vigor and, really, joy in his heart and performance. Makes me cry.

  • wha ta great song this never gets old

  • We still love you!

  • Everytime I hear the solo it makes me think of my whole life and moves my soul in a way i can only experience not explain :'')

  • It may not be manly to say, but I don't care; this made me cry :'(

  • @bl709 real men cry. if this doesn't make people cry then i don't know what will.

  • @UnclFluffy12 This one not so much, but "Who Wants to Live Forever" does.

  • @UnclFluffy12 Something that is actually sad.

  • @bl709 Only Real men can cry NAD admit it. And it makes ya hella lot sexier!!! HELLZ YAH!!

  • @bl709 Only Real men can cry AND admit it. And it makes ya hella lot sexier!!! HELLZ YAH!!

  • i was never much of a Queen fan..but Freddie Mercury will go down as perhaps the greatest musical entertainer of the 20th century..his charisma, stage presence, and his willingness to do what it took to give the Queen fans their money's worth make him so remarkable in my eyes..i wish i could appreciate his music a little more..but i appreciate him as a person...i miss you Freddie Mercury

  • We miss you freddie your were amazing your strength...always remember you...and queen as well...you all fit together amazingly...

  • This song was played at my good friend's funeral who killed himself, and it was so hard to listen to, it broke my heart even more.

  • Fantastic, Emotional, Gifted, Beautiful Man, "Ready Freddie". What a loss! He and Queen were/are one of a kind! Peace, Love, Unity, Tolerance!

  • Usually songs like this one depress me..make me think of all that I've lost myself...but somehow, this one seems joyful in a way. It's a paean to the past and a simple statement of Mercury's love for his friends and his body of work. His life was too short, but he found what was important--work that brought people joy, and people to love who lived him back.

  • I don't know why but hearing this song makes me so sad

  • This is me and my sister's theme song.. I miss you Dee.. desperately.. I love you.

  • Love you Freddie.

  • queen forever

  • to watch this and know he was in so much pain!!! its hard!! but he did it for us, his fans!!!! ur missed freddie!!!!

  • He was very ill and he still went up tehre and gave ti his best shot. We respect that. Plus you can tell he's sick. Plus look at what he looks like over the years. He doesn't look like he did in the 70's but listen to how Queen's music has changed. Look up their first song:Keep yourself alive and their last:This song. You can tell they aint lip-singing

  • I can't believe this is the same guy who rocked Live Aid

  • Comment removed

  • this song is for you janet

  • the 53 people who dislike this song dont really dislike it. they just hate the fact that freddie had to go...

  • God, this video never fails to make me cry. Especially his smile at the end. Sigh. Why'd you have to leave us, Freddie? :'( <3

  • He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.

  • What are you guys talking about?.....Freddie isn't dead.

  • i LOVE YOU..the "i" isn't capitalized, Mercury, because it's not as important as the loving you.

  • It makes me sad in a way, but we must SEIZE THE DAY and live evey day to the fullest because no one is promised tomorrow.

  • I think Freddy looks amazing here. What a beautiful man inside and out.

  • Saddest song ever when you think about it... :(

  • i dunno why, but he kinda reminds of Victor Victoria whenever I look at his face in this video. Is it just me?

  • @Zutara4eva12 i can see that...

  • 53 people have really missed out on something very special...

  • You say lady gaga, i say Led Zeppelin

You say hannah montana, i say AC\DC

You say owl city, i say Deep Purple

You say jonas brothers, i say The Rolling Stones

You say justin bieber, i say Queen

You say taylor swift, i say Guns & Roses.

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to atleast 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK AND ROLL DIE

  • @ClonedRandomDude

"Real music"??? Give it up, grandpa. There was as much crap in your day as there is today. Your insulting premise is as ridiculous as Led Zeppelin's "Tangerine" or the Stones' "Emotional Rescue". Won't even bother with the other bands - too easy a target.

  • @jeffhrsn Grandpa? I'm one of those other 5%, thank you very much. So what if some of the songs I like are ridiculous? I like to be different, and you can't tell me otherwise!

BTW, I'd like to add April Wine, Elton John, The Beatles, Yello, and the Bee Gees to that list.

  • @ClonedRandomDude Don't forget David Cassidy/The Partridge Family, The DeFrancos, The Osmonds, Bobby Goldsboro, Ray Stevens. Your choices for "comparison" are pretty idiotic to say the least.

  • @jeffhrsn Yes, I know I forgot to include country artists. And the word "idiotic" could have many meanings depending on your perspective. That's your opinion, and I respect that. However, there's no need to bash me with it.

  • @ClonedRandomDude Freddy you was a miracle and i pray god will one day allow your light to trully shine the way it should have while you was alive.....

  • @ClonedRandomDude you say all that shit, i say just stfu

  • @ClonedRandomDude im pretty sure your not the only one that says queen in exchange for justin. some people refer to him as a queen too. haha

  • @ClonedRandomDude i say stop posting this. it wont help change things, if kids are going to like shitty music than let them. let us enjoy our good music. but i know, i will make sure when i have kids in the future, that they know who these great men were of the greatest and most insperational band ever. Queen.

  • @ClonedRandomDude

YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!!! XD

  • wow, freddie looked awful. and he still gave it what he got. amazing.

    RIP FREDDIE

  • @iluvroknrol93 the world misses him

  • every time i hear this i feel sad and my stomach starts to hurt :( i love you freddie

  • its sad to see that freddy is so small now

  • This song and video brings the tears pouring down my face everytime . To see him like this is just heartwrenching. But he was so brave here. He kept his head held high!! Oh how I miss him!! What a truly beautiful soul!! He was truly the most amazing singer and front man to have ever lived. A man only dies when he is forgotten and Freddie will NEVER be forgotten. He will remain immortal to all us fans who still love him to this day. ILY Freddie!! R.I.P. Freddie. Forever missed and loved.♥♥

  • greatest showman ever

  • Damn man back when I was 6 used to bring sadness and tears to my eyes.Today Im 22 and still does because it is such a tragedy to lost such a great voice, person and icon on the music. "I still love you" That last phrase is just perfect. We all still love you Freddie and thank you so much so many amazing songs.

  • Freddie, your music helped me a lot out back in 2007 when my dad died. I hope you two have met in heaven, you two wonderful people :) Thank you so much Freddie, and Queen, for helping me. RIP Dad and Freddie. I love you both.

  • Song should be played at every graduation!

  • @chevymudder86 Really? I thought one should be looking forward rather than backward after so many sleepless nights with books.
