LOL i was looking for this song.. and finally found it- I SAT DOWN in the instance for 40 minutes instead of playing the borring game lol =D... most my jobs are 50 and weaving had to do the quest and i heard the music and i was amazed finally a good music from xiv ;)
Im keeping a watch on the game as long as it takes, for i to return into a live vivid world with musical pieces like this one as a backdrop, the world need a new FANTASTIC FF-online.
This invokes the "Done" feeling, it would grandly fit to the little secret movie that is played after every Offline FF's castroll after you've managed to beat the game:
Peace is restored, the world can rest in ease once more and the hero's are released from their burden, in loving memory of those who have lost their lives in this fight for freedom
That song would sound beautiful and I guess even bring me to tears in that kind of ending situation
Great music, absolutely horrific game. Hope they can clean it up, but by the time they do I doubt anyone will care. Thanks for going senile and ruining FF Online, Tanaka.
@TruthSpreading too true. Their only hope rests on the shoulders of a console release of the game, + huge update patch that makes it awesome. I hope I'm proved wrong, but i hold alot of doubt that that will ever surface.
@Pherox83 Well, maybe I was a bit harsh, all I actually wish for is that they named it FF Online instead of giving it a roman "official" number, spoiling the collectors consecutive collection who aren't interested in playing FF Online or don't want to pay for it or just can't effort it.
Square Enix slammed a door close for many true hearted fans, and they haven't apologized for it till today.
Why should they, as long as the make money with it?
I love reading these comments from 6 months ago on how amazing the game is going to turn out, and it ended up having no content. The OST was horrible too, FF13's was far superior. Nobuo's old age is showing, his music is no longer enticing.
@ffles Nobuo Uematsu's music is not showing his age You may not like his songs, but millions of others do. No longer enticing? This is music, my friend, an international language. Look at the comments. Everyone else likes it.
@ffles You sir are obviously not listening to the beauty within the music, everyone has individual taste, but his music will go down in legend. Mark my words.
@JASONMOORE87 his earlier work yes, his recent work has been extremely lackluster, so no. The FFXI compusers Naoshi Mizuta & Kumi Tankioka both blew all of his FF14 work out of the water.
@ffles Naoshi Mizuta? i havent heard anything from him in years, so he must not be assigned to major projects anymore. FF14 > FF11 music overal. Kumi Tankioka (the same applies sadly)
Nobuo Uematsu's work is still the best squaresoft & squareenix will ever see.
Do you guys smell that? I smell trolls. Trolls who were "WoWed" (see what I did thar :b) by Final Fantasy's epic soundtrack, that they came here to listen, but seeing as how there trolls for WoW they simply doubt any feelings brought on by this beautiful music. FFXIV > WoW just because of the music, in my honest opinion. Does WoW even have music? v. v
Who cares about gameplay when you can sit and enjoy the music :3
@xAzureKitsunex yeah, thanks to youtube and official game soundtracks, i can listen to this without the torture of playing the game, wow has good music, albeit not as good but it fits its style
@tanhil I dont like this games gameplay, i hope they make it like 13's. think about how much strategy there would be. "oh no, im out of magic and items!" will your teamate help you? or leave you to die? True friendship builds on this battlefield.
@crapricot except the game is actually great if you give it time. they don't hand everything to you on a silver platter. I love the game more and more as i play it.
I can definitely see the similarities in composition to Final Fantasy VIII. The flute, the accordion.... Nice, Uematsu. Thank you for giving us more musical awesomeness.
Reminds me of the song that plays after you beat Zophar in Lunar 2.

@xAzureKitsunex DW, WoW has an addon for that ;P. FinalFantalization to be precise.
Any further arguements are hereby invalid

@xAzureKitsunex if I wanted to sit and enjoy music, I'd buy a soundtrack not a game. I pay for a game - I care about gameplay.
