Why is it important to believe in any higher power? The whole of organised religion baffles me. The creation and evolution of life is discussed by too many people who know too little about either to avoid revealing their scientific ignorance. There are specific scientific, psychological, moral and philosophical arguments against religion which I have only seen countered by pseudo-scientific theist mumbo jumbo and quotes from an ancient work of literature.
what is going too far about saying that humans are animals? would you rather i classify you as a mineral? the truth is we are animals, and being an animal is not a negative thing.
This guy is an exception because he says "theology is unscientific, so stop arguing over science". Too bad that he missed the step "theology is random, so stop arguing over theology".
lethal; don't waste your time explaining things to creationists. the real question is: who paid them to believe that crap? yes that's right; paid them, because i can't understand why else would they PREVENT themselves to learn and study real science, and take the book of lies (you know which i talk about) and take what little (or even huge)education they have to pertuate lies they themselves see obviously as total bull. they were either scared into submission, OR... have personal, material gain:$
More feasible than an invisable man who created the world in 6 days, especially when there were far more than 6 days between the dinosaurs and humans. The only evidence creationists have is the fact that we exist, period. The sun heats water, then it evaporates, creating clouds, did god make it rain, no, too much water vapor in the air made it rain. If god takes care of us, why do we have cancer? Cancer is a slow torturous death, surely this isnt because "god" loves us.
