  • I love Mystic Eyes. I used to have a bflat Hohner but couldn't quite get Mr. Morrison's tongueing like the begining, for example. But I really wish I could get it on the harp. Thanks for showing us "how it goes". Makes me wanna get a Fender bass and an amp stack and thumb that bflat scale!

  • I love monotony songs (one or two chorders). Great karaoke guitar BTW

  • nice job,one of my all time favorites, amazing how something this old still smokes! like us

  • Could you post some tabs or tell us which scales you are playing for the higher parts?

  • Bar top 3 strings at 12th fret

    1st str G F# E

    2nd str D C# B

    3rd str Bb A G

Just move your bar finger down a whole step (10th fret) and do the same note pattern.

  • Lucinda williams does a simlar thing on her song " Joy " you took my Joy I want it back.

  • Cool and interesting. I never realised he was holding the same chord for nearly the first half of the tune - and it still sounds exciting.

Nice playing yerself btw! (although a tuner might be advisable next time).
