  • All my tears.

  • If you really wanted to avoid triggering, you should have had a warning BEFORE the crazy part, not a moment or two after it started.

  • Shut the fuck up operator and send the fucking police!!!

  • @AutoTerminator Them speaking does not mean that they're not sending the police. They can do both at the same time, and that is usually what happens. They will send the police, and at the same time try to keep the person on the phone so they can monitor what is going on.

  • @Miektastic yeah. thats pretty badass.

  • that 911 call made me friggin cry

  • Laci i just wanted to ask what you think of this, hope you reply! If not someone else would be appreciated. I know a guy whos very big a tough but i know he has hit women in the past. If he hears someone else beats a women he will go mental about it and go after the guy but its ok for him to do it if its in his opinion "really serious" such as a guy touching up his gf and she didn't react badly enough to it? Its always wrong to hit a women right?

  • @Rawc90 It is still wrong. He's simply made himself into a hypocrite.

  • My dad used to be abusive towards my mum until he suddenly realized i was a lot bigger than him. He looked pretty terrified when i stepped between them and put an end to it.

  • i once was the child in a relationship like this

  • Do not slap the face, slap that ass instead she will love that.

    (feel free to bitch)

  • I know you are an atheist...and I am a Christian but this is one thing we can both agree on. This is sincerely HORRIBLE, and I personally know someone who is going through this right now. I feel so horrible for her, but for some reason she won't leave the guy. I wish women would stand up and walk out when at all possible. Some just keep blaming themselves and it just hurts me. Ladies, you don't have to take this! God loves you, we love you, and we want you happy! Don't put up with this.

  • That phone call gave me goosebumps and tears. It's one thing for a woman to be subject to abuse, but I HATE when a child has to witness/be apart of it.

  • @ajeter2629 im only 12 and ive seen abuse and been abused

  • why can't the operator get help first and then ask questions after, every second counts...

  • This hit uncomfortably close to home. I've recently got out of an abusive relationship, and honestly part of me wishes I saw this video about 6 months ago so I suffered less. Mine was mostly psychological abuse, but it got worse towards the end and he hurt me a couple of times. Tbh this is when I received my wake up call and left; I'm so glad I did, with the help of my friends. Hearing that phone call made me want to cry out of shock of what would've been my future if I hadn't sought for help.

  • Hardcore chills at the end of that phone call. I got so scared!

  • Women who date or marry abusive men have only themselves to blame for their bad and irresponsible lifestyle choices.

  • @LordMalice6d9

It's not that simple. For women or men.

  • You the 1 in 4 women this has been proven false for years now.

  • to all men, avoid this woman. there is something not right about her

  • Dear God, I started bawling at the phone call in the beginning! :'(

  • this shit is really scary

  • That mommy gave me chills.

  • @MassEFR34k Too high or too low?

  • I wish I had found a resource like this when I was a teenager.

  • i just got out of an abusive relationship and i was crying through this whole video. please never let any partner youre with put their hands on you. please!

  • 132 abusive cowards watched this

  • Let me guess. I don't even need to watch this video....

    ITS ALWAYS THE MAN'S FAULT

  • @MrHav1k maybe you should watch it, what ar eyou hiding? Let me guess, you love the following joke I bet: "what do you tell a woman with two black eyes" Anyone can be abusive an dmost victims become abusers Hav..so women can be just a sbrutal as men. How mysoginistic can you get tough guy.

  • @MrHav1k if you bothered to watch you'd realize what an ass you sound like esp at the 1:15

  • @MrHav1k If that's the impression you're under, clearly you do.

  • Why is it no one ever seriously talks about the abusers mentality? Here Laci dives deep into the abused mindset and tells about what makes them tick, but I am also curious as to what makes someone take advantage of, dominate, control, and beat their partner. Everyone always says "They are insecure cowards" or "they are scum bags". That doesn't satisfy me.

  • @zacthebold Because they're less noticed. When someone thinks "abuse" they think of hitting and violence. They don't think of someone manipulating someone else into situations that are damaging or emotionally damaging. It's a much subtler evil.

  • @zacthebold One of the common causes is a distorted or even lack of ability to distinguish others from the self. Narcissists, for example, see everyone else as an extension of their self. As such, they believe that everyone else should seek to assist them in whatever way the narcissist deems best and are often expected to do so without being told what is wanted from them. If they don't, they're seen as the ones at fault and the abuser feels justified.

  • @zacthebold Beating people up make them happy. School yard bully shit. They demand what they want with violence.

  • @zacthebold Usually they were victims themselves or lik ethat child, wittnesses to it.. no matter what teh reason, all bullies ar escum, frightened little cowards.

  • that 911 call was awful

  • I have a problem with the 1 in 15 statistic for men being abused. The truth is it's closer to 1 in 6 however there is a stigma about men being abused so they never report it. Even if they did report it: it's policy of law enforcement to side with the women.

  • @BlasphemyWerks0 Im sorry to say this friend, but how the fuck does a man get abused from a woman? Just spank her a few times if she is being naughty.

  • @omarct ...Yeah, even when she has a knife. Women attack with weapons, and no matter how she hits you, or what she hits you with: if you call the police, YOU are the one arrested "for her safety".

I still have scars on my arms, and I passed out from lack of blood before the police even took me to the hospital. She also lied about me hitting her, so they took my kids away permanently. Of course, the law sided with her because she is a woman. She took my life away, and they let her!

  • @BlasphemyWerks0 Well I could try to insult you and tell you things like maybe you should had put your foot down b4 things escalated to that point, but lets just say that is not all her fault, you are to blame as well.

  • @omarct I NEVER hit her once, I never cheated, she was the boss and if I ever got "out of line", she would abuse me both physically and mentally... I was afraid of her. I have no idea why I tolerated it at all, and I should have left LONG before she pulled the knife on me... I got home 2 hours late one night due to a very real flat tire, and she went absolutely nuts insisting that I was cheating on her and that she'd kill me. She lied to the police and they always believe. How am I to blame?

  • @omarct You don't see a problem with blaming the victim?

  • the 911 call at the beginning of the video is soooo shocking...

  • How strange that none of these women are telling women to simply STOP DATING SCUMBAGS...

    I wonder why...

Because women hate each other, that's why.

Every woman knows which men are violent, and which are not. The non-violent ones are the ones women call 'nice guys' and REFUSE TO DATE...

  • @packoftwenty ... up until they grow some maturity. For rsome women it takes years to realise who the nice guys are, for others just a couple tries. Not all abusers are violent and abusive from the begining. And some women are raised to think that a little abuse here and there is just normality. That being said, i've found my nice guy, and so have the 4/5 women that aren't abused.

  • @packoftwenty well, in the beginning, when the "abuser" is in love or just extremely interested he'll treat her nice and charming, its just lateron, when hormones subside that he shows his true colors.in the beginning he seems just like a confident, cool guy and then he turns into a fucking monster. have you never been in a relationship, where the person you were with seemed so great in the beginning and so shitty after some time?

you cannot assume that you have to know what a person will be like

  • They were each given 1000 tons of power to stand up for others.

She used hers to stand up for EVERYONE but herself.

He used his to stand up for NOBODY but himself.

He used up all his power trying to stand up for himself, but he failed, so he tried to get her to use all her power to stand up for him.

She tried her best, but she failed to defend him from himself.

So he attacked her, until she was nearly destroyed.

So she stood up for her children by standing up for their mother.

    Her talents grew.

  • Anyone got a link for the full recording?

  • I hope the recording wasnt real

  • The music was really bad, I know it was a hard-hitting subject but please... that music was scary.

  • that intro scared me shitless :(

  • That recording gave me major chills :( poor kid!

  • my god...got goosebumps from that tape....

  • This video is the last straw for me Laci. Your pedalling of the 1 in 4 stat for women being abused is a disgrace, and you top that off by suggesting that 1 in 15 men are abused. Men and women are victims of domestic abuse at around the same level, and it is certainly NOT as high as 1 in 4. Get yourself informed because for whatever reason people listen to you, and you are sprouting typical Feminist hyperbole. People like you have no idea how much damage you do by being so misinformed. Unsubbed.

  • @RockingMrE "Men and women are victims of domestic abuse at around the same level" BULLSHIT

  • @Slanguaj no, it's not bullshit, most domestic violence cases the woman initiates the violences against the man (throwing items, slapping etc etc).

  • @Sivels What do you mean "initiates?" What makes an act "initiating?"

  • @lazyperfectionist1

1-1"Initiates". It means to start something. And Sivels is correct. The CDC did a vast study on this and most likely Sivels is referring to that one. It’s the most well known. But there are hundreds of studies that prove this is true. From numerous psychological research studies to even a report from the Journal of Medicine some years back. All by people with PhD’s after their names.

  • @lazyperfectionist1

1-2And unlike DV websites, none of them are looking for money.I fingered you might think these studies where just men attacking women’s reputation; so I’ll point out now that in most of these studies it is groups of male AND female doctors reporting this.

  • @lazyperfectionist1

2-1Women ARE usually the perpetrators of DV. They are also the most likely to get hurt. Men are more likely to be arrested and they are also more likely to serve a longer sentence. Male victims are more likely to have a recurring experience. They are less likely to report DV.

  • @lazyperfectionist1

2-2When it comes to children, boys are usually the victims more often than girls. Same thing goes with child neglect. However the numbers usually run close enough that there is little to no difference on that one. And in all honesty even if girls or women were victims more often it wouldn’t matter. DV is not a gender issue and ANY victim needs just as much help and support as the next victim

  • @lazyperfectionist1

3-1An example would be the “1 in 4 women” statement. You usually find that from either a college student paper of from a “DV awareness” website. They are really the only ones still reporting that. But remember that college level students are not as scrupulous with their research as professional doctors in the field.

  • @lazyperfectionist1 3-2In addition most DV sites do not get funding for male victims even when they are knocking at their door; so that is not their “target market”. Check the sources for how they actually got the “1 in 4”. It’s a real eye opener to how bad research can become common belief.

  • @NoMorThanMost Thank you for having the guts & the knowledge to state the facts. BTW, Statistical Abstract of US 1987; 57-61% of reported child abuse perpetrated by moms. 1988, Daly & Wilson/Canada reported 54% of child murders by moms. Another study by Strass, Gellar & Steinmetz, 1980 found violence seemed 2 b about even bewteen husbs & wives except for pushing & shoving. Steinmetz went on to say that the most unreported crime was not wife beating--it's husband beating.

  • Comment removed

  • @MLJ1219

I have a copy of Strass’s study but didn’t know about the other two. Thanks.

Keep speaking out when you see misguided BS bother. The more awareness about ALL victims, the more these sexist assholes will be exposed. Male victims are starting to speak out. We are not just a few and as female abusers continue to be overlooked we are only growing. Our voice is getting louder. It’s hard for sexists to fight truth and I am not staying quite anymore.

  • @RockingMrE Um you clearly need to be more informed than you think you are. What she said is actually very true. It's been proven. Multiple times.

  • @WATERKING15 link? thought so..

  • My parents relationship tends to linger between the tension and the abuse stage. Sadly, my brother, who's now married and has a child, is becoming more and more like my Dad. I fear, that I would become this way. This is one of the reasons why I stay single. I would not live with myself if I seriously hurt my S/O.

  • Something she missed on this video is that women who "cry wolf" are one of the biggest detriments to the women who honestly need the help. They discredit the rest of us with their lies.

  • I've been in two abusive relationships in my life.... I'm only 15.

    I'm so glad I've found someone else<3

  • @iYEMTheGreatest I totally agree with you. Its like they get offended when guys treat them like sluts but they wear clothes that shows off thier sexual body parts. Thank god Im gay.

  • @iYEMTheGreatest YES YES YES!!! God damn it, I so fucking agree with you. Whenever i see or hear about a man beating a woman Im like, "Fuck, what the bitch do to make him go ape on her ass?"

  • @AstroMen2911 Clearly you haven't known that many people who've been abused. Most of the survivors I know are loving and demure, and their husbands take advantage of their nature to dominate and control them. These men are cowardly and sick.

Even if the woman is a bitch, does that mean that she deserves to be beaten? No, if that's the case, the guy should just leave. That's the stronger thing to do.

  • omg I have never heard such pain and terror in a child's voice in my life. truly horrifying stuff :(

  • I cannot handle the 911 call. *shudders* I honestly don't.understand how people can stand being 911 operators. I would be losing my shit and have anxiety attacks so often if that was my job.

  • The 911 call is really disturbing.

  • is mommy dead?

  • omfg i will have nightmares this knight. why? because of this damn kid at the beginning...

  • Thank you for posting this video. So many people do not realise that its not always possible to leave. In our world money controls everything & human life is cheap.

  • monotone voice "whats the matter?"

  • @lmfaosilly they do that to keep the person on the line calm

  • Being a survivor and finally telling my story to my friends it makes me cry to know how many people out there can't escape it.

  • Damn. That's deep. Props.

  • my father killed my mother and now i live on my own because my dad was abusive to me and her i i have cigar burns and welt scars from a leather belt on my back my dad is in jail and i have 2 jobs i get at most 1 hour of sleep every day because i have to pay my bills domestic violence is nothin to joke about my docter says i will have these scars for the rest of my life cuz of how deep they are

  • OMFG SAD BEGINNING

  • The thing you forgot to fully mention is the huge percentage of homicides linked to domestic violence, it blows street crimes out of the park.

  • I am never getting abused in a relationship, shoot, try to touch me I dare you! I'll rip out your fucking jugular!! x)

    I love you laccciii ;D

  • cleavage

  • I want to beat the shit outta men that hit women and children....

  • How can someone dislike this story or laci green c'mon ppl

  • the boy:o my gosh my daddy is hurting my mommy the cop:how is is he hurting her the boy:my mommy is screaming the cop:are u sure the boy: yes, he is on top of my mommy slapping her and grabbing her chest the cop :what else the boy : and,and the cop: i need to know every thing that is happening the boy : he made some red mark on mommy's butt the boy : [screams] the cop: what happen the boy: THEY'RE HAVING SEX !!!
  • I'm usually so emotionless with violence and tragedy, but that "MOMMY!" scared the hell out of me :(

Maybe its because, even though I've never been abused, child abused always hits me hard (even though I know they're talking about the mom).

  • If you read the description, you'll see what happened to the 911 caller.

"The 911 caller and her mother are safe, the abuser received 3 years probation and some jail time."

  • Holy shit this scared the hell out of me!

  • Alright this music is fucking creepy.

  • Does anyone know what happened with that 911 call

  • @TheOneAndOnlyTorford at the end it says "in loving memory of lizzy" so I think that the mother might've died but I don't know :\

  • @TheOneAndOnlyTorford read the description it says what happens

  • My god the beginning was so scary! O.O

  • i generally love lacis vids, but this 1 was fucking scary :/ and comin from a dude, thats sayin something

  • the start made me cry :|

  • @fallenandburning me too :''(

  • OMG!

  • my grandpa beat my grandma for years until she finally had enough and shot him with a hunting rifle in the face :P i <3 her

  • @NaitoSuicide Did she go to jail?

  • @zacthebold for a few months but it was ruled self-defence

  • I'm fairly certain that was the most frightening audio clip I've ever heard. It so vividly illustrates the helplessness and fear suffered by the child. What a disaster.

  • Hell, now the women are beating the men!

  • If you want people to take you seriously, you need to cover up your fucking boobs. But other than that, I feel bad for the kid.

  • I thought it was a little boy, and I felt scared listening to the call.

  • wow .... that girl sounded so young </3 sad

  • To think I was in one of those. It was a woman and the cycle of psycological abuse dragged on for over a year before I cut things off.

  • Domestic violence amongst men might be under reported (macho man thing is sooooo dumb/overdone)

  • I feel horrible for that kid and his mom!

  • i havent cried this much in a while.

  • fuck....

  • yeah I cried in the beginning :(... I've definitely been there. oiasjdasd nice job on the video.

  • The beginning was so intense... :(

    Great video Laci <3

  • @dbzman1985 : wait, you encourage women to rape men? whut

  • Yesterday during school I was in the girls bathroom and two minutes after I hear crying and a GUY IN THE GIRLS BATHROOM, he followed which was I think his girlfriend and they were fighting, the guy was yelling and hitting her (I didn't see any of this I only heard it) then I hear a loud slap and the girl goes "Owwww!" so I got out of there as fast as I could and went to report it, they're still investigating more into it, I hope soon this guy gets caught...

  • this was scary

  • Do you know what he was doing to the woman? ( I am not thick I know he was hurting her and I have read the description)

  • @countrygir2209 I'm taking a wild guess here but I assume that the red mark on the mom's neck was a would from a weapon (maybe knife). And at the end of the video, we see a tribute to Lizzy. This mother is probably dead.

  • do you know what happens to the child at the beginning? i really need to put my mind at ease

  • @SophieGizzy read the description

  • the beggining was horrific my heart started beating real fast 0.0

  • The beginning was so horrific and sad that I almost started crying.

  • the start was one of the most scariest, saddest, most depressing things I have ever heard. But i have to admit, this has raised my awareness of this issue.

  • aww the beginning was sad :( i almost cried

  • the first seconds almost made me cry...

  • the beginning was so sad. :"(

  • The first 23 seconds gave me chills and goosebumps all over my arms.

Thank GOD I'm a lesbian, at least women are easier to fend off...

  • @hithere01002

there is also violence in homosexual relationships. not as often, but it can also happen.

  • @MissJoanieWonderful No, I know.

I do know homosexuals who have been in abusive relationships. Mostly, I was referring to the fact that women are are generally not as physically strong as men, and I'm pretty strong myself, so they wouldn't usually have raw power on their side were I to end up in a physically abusive relationship.

  • Comment removed

  • @hithere01002 Are you kidding? My wife's sister is a Lesbian and her last girlfriend couldn't physically beat her up so she waited until they went to bed that night AND STRANGLED HER! Luckily somehow she managed to get away. Just because your a girl who likes girls DOESN'T mean your safe

  • @hithere01002 Cause men are bad people lol.. Why stereotype?

  • @hithere01002 This is quite a stupid comment. Violence in homosexual relationships exists as well, and to claim that dating a woman is better because "they're easier to fend off"... that just makes me sick.

I'll never forget when my best friend showed up at my door badly beaten. Apparently her girlfriend wasn't easy to fend off.

  • The beginning is veryy disturbing

  • i cant listen to the beginning twice , and trust me , i can see alot of weird fucked up stuff , but i cant listen to this

  • I had a philosophy teacher that told me a quote. "I don't hold the door open for a woman because she is a woman because she is a woman. I hold it open because I am a gentleman." Why is chivalry dead. The art of being nice to each other? If feminists chose the right battles they would have impacted DV by so much more by now. They haven't fought for equality in a long time, it's all advantage now. If a woman can't meet the firefighting standards, lets just lower it right? That makes sence?

  • I forget who said it but some guy once said "I pity the man who lives in interesting times." Something along those lines anyways. We've got a world that is either headed to oblivion or bliss, but between there and here is a world torn to shreds. Feminism is a movement that changed the world for the better but now is destroying it. It's become man bashing and has lost it's male supporters which has turned the fight against abuse into MvW. No man wants to help anymore and women jus blame men.

  • my uncle tried to beat my aunt to death last year. he kept saying stuff like " i'm going to kill you bitch." & dragged her around the house stepping on her and banging her head on walls, dressers, ect. she played dead so he left the room . then she blacked out and ended up a few houses down w/ someone who was calling the ambulance . it was terrifying , i've faced alot of domestic abuse situations but that was the worst

  • I'm sorry Laci but that stat at 1:21 is bullshit. For starters your source is more then likely a womens advocacy group of some sort that pulls funds from the US government, but only as long as they can justify there existance (so theres an inbuilt bias to the reporting section of those stats), not to mention that DV is not just restricted to M on F, or F on M. There is also mutual assult & "DV by Proxy". Men get the short end of the stick on this issue & its not accurate, nor is it fair.

  • Domestic violence is one of the hardest things to go through, me and my sister went through it as children from both parents. Thanks for posting this video, it's really comforting to see support, especially for my sister, she hasn't really been able to get over it. :)

  • I really like how you edited this video. It made it twice as powerful. It's a terrible topic, and I think you handled it extremely well. I hope this message reaches more people, and that eventually these numbers will start going DOWN instead of up.

  • Never get the urge to choke a bitch ? i mean c'mon, maybe i need to get checked ,lol

  • @cradleoflinkinpark Seriously dude you are fucked in the head. That is the least funny thing I have seen in comments here. You do need to get checked.

  • If you're wondering about the 911 call. Look at the description.

  • I wish i was there for that boy in the beginning i'm only 14 but i don't care that boy didn't deserve what happened neither did his mother!

  • @lacigreen What happened to the mother when the little girl said "OH MY GOD! SOMETHING HAPPENED!"?

  • At the beginning, the 911 operator was so calm... why her mother was being abused?!

  • @jordannoyes13 She has to be. How would you feel if someone you loved was injured and the operator started to freak out instead of find out where you live and send an EMT.

  • Poor little girl...

  • This beginning sounds like an intro to Eminem's song

  • im sad now the beginning was totally depressing
