If you wan to prove to yourself that no machine like this can ever work, start with just one pole on the rotor and one on the stator. Imagine that you want to make a graph of the torque vs angle of that machine. Notice that the simple case is its own mirror image. This makes the torque vs angle curve have an average of exactly zero. Now that you understand the simple case, add poles. When you do you add torque vs angle curves. Since all curves average zero, the sum averages zero.

@herbsterplace1 The Maglev train is just a linear electric motor. It draws massive amounts of electrical power to move along the track. It also takes a little electrical power to hold it up clear of the track but this is less than wheels on a track would lose in friction so it is worth doing. You seem not to understand were to look for where the energy comes from. I suggest you go learn just a little bit of physics

I have seen people with obvious mechanical skill but a lack of knowledge of physics waste their time trying to reproduce the machine. If these people had not been deceived, they may have made something useful. As it is, their talents were wasted on nonsense.

This is a way to transfer energy from linear to rotary forces with small losses, but as a motor it is full of crap.

I firmly believe perpetual motion devices exist and will run generators however, some of these guys claim to be in the US, sell instructional pamphlets and claim to have patents on their devices-THEY ARE LIARS.

Perpetual motion and free energy devices can not be patented in the United States. I suspect it's due to some of the devices Tesla built & the government knew if resources were free, they wouldn't be able to build a stable society and economy & society would also become lazy & simple.
