  • Eric's art and innovation to the common types of origami is absolutely amazing. The only thing that I wonder is the type of paper that he uses.

Thanks for sharing this amazing video, jamiek8!

  • That is amazing! Jamiek, do you know Joisel?

  • Yes I do. He's a wonderful and generous friend.

  • how cool! Your lucky, he is incredible! I know that he is like a master in wetfolding..... wonder how it's performed.....

  • omFg...

  • I apologise for some confusion.

The Joisel crane does start with a bird base however there are a couple of steps that I did not film.

The third last step in the traditional crane is to fold up the tail and head sections however with the Joisel model, he makes the head section thinner by refolding the head part so that it is half as thin as the tail part before inside reversing both sections.

I hope this helps resolve any confusion.

  • That's great, thanks for sharing this. This stuff is beyond ratings but just for the sake...5/5

  • that is the greatest thing i have ever seen

  • hmm... mine is FUBAR compared to this one!

  • You're welcome. I hope it helps you fold this beautiful model. Some very subtle moves in the folding. I fold it several times a week and still can't fold it as well as Eric.
