  • wow.. ok i got it at 12 and some ppl have it when they r born so...yeah i have an omnipod any diabetcs reading this get one they r so epic they made my like so easy!!!!!!!

  • i hope nick's diabetes will be transferred to me .... :(

  • i think that he is defiantly a great inspiration for all diabetics all over the world and I think that he is a great inspiration for me too and it does sorta help to know someone well known with the same 'condition' as me

  • @sofisticatedpanda What diabetic camp did you go to?

  • I am a Type 1 Diabetic and everyday for the past 3 months it still seems like a dream and like I don't fit in at school but I went to Diabetes camp and it was one of the best times of my life because you fit in and everyone else knows what you are going through I just thought I should share that with everyone who doesn't fit in. :)

  • I was crying through out the video..

  • oh nicholas I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH<3!!!

  • i was diagnosed 2 months ago... then i found out nick had it, i totally respect him :)

  • I'm diabetic, and I love how he's positive, but i hate how people are always like "I feel so sorry for Nick, i hope they'll find a cure, so he doesn't die".. First of all.. He's NOT gonna die just cause he has diabetes, and second of all, what about the rest of the diabetics?.. we don't matter, as long as Nick's fine, or?..

  • He's gonna find someone one day who will accept him just as he is, diabetes and all.

  • NIck is such a blessing... I hate that he thought he was gonna die. I can tell that he cares about his family, and his fans....

  • I'm diabetic myself and know how hard it is. Fortunate for me, both my parents are type 1 diabetics as well, so we help each other. But! There are times I wish I was normal, and those time I wanna flush it down the toilet. Because of Nick, I try to see the positive sides by it, although it's hard, but I do it for my family and myself. So thank you SO much Nick :-) I love you and what you do and stand for. Remember, diabetics are never alone, we are here for each other!

  • he is a strong person and he not scread to share the world about his diabetes

  • Whats the name of the song they're singing?

  • I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 12.It's probably the most difficult thing I've ever been through.Finding out that you're going to be sticking yourself with a bunch of needles every day for the rest of your life isn't easy for anyone. At first, I was really angry all the time.I think that a lot of diabetics go through that. It sucks to have your own body betray you.I have found that having this disease taught me alot, and I am oddly grateful to diabetes for opening my eyes.

  • i never new tht dick had diebeties

  • @Mr1233556 you also don't know how to spell.

  • And just because Nick is a millionaire doesn't mean that he in anyway deserves this deadly disease and don't get me wrong..it is deadly. He is just a popular singer who is spreading the message. Dont kill the messenger. I am in no way a Jonas fan, but I support his voyage. There a lot of kids who get this and are scared. I'm sure it helps having him say it will be ok if you take charge. Stop your bitching!!

  • @ashleyryanful apart from hes the omnipod no its not nice for him but with that he has a normal life

  • I to am a Type 1 Diabetic. I found out the same way Nick did. I was 20 yrs old. In the prime of my life, drinking and eating whatever I wanted. I started losing a lot of weight in a short time. I didn't understand cause I never seem to be full. I was so thirsty and would chug a mountain dew..not knowing. I went to the doctor and found out. I sat for a hour with a needle and couldn't do it. My mom let me know how important it was. Now 12 yrs later its no big deal, but oh how I struggled!

  • hi i am meggie braun and i have diabetes

  • 16th Sep is my bday :D I would rather have all these stuff I have to take ( I am like allergic to everything :s it sucks lol !) And I am allergic to choclate :( yes very s but nick is doing good ad ! lol ! x

  • he was diagnosed at 14 complains about it , get sympathy from thousands of idiot girls who don't even know what diabetes is , has a very expensive machine that keeps him healthy so he takes 1 minute out of his day for diabetes , I was diagnosed at 5 , I don't have a song , a thousand dollar device or a bunch of sympathy , my life is not that hard , now poor people with ANY disease deserve sympathy , but don't get it , he won't die , it is not that bad , plus he doesn't prick , which isnt bad

  • OH SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!! Everyone knows you have diabetes. Honestly, I don't care. I don't! You are a multi-millionaire and have access to the best doctors in the world. There is NO REASON for you to be bitching about it!!! Diabetes is NOT CANCER!!! Stop treating it like it is, you attention whoring douchebag!!!!!!

  • @EclipseMetal08 No money in the world can turn back time and remove the diabetes for him. Its serious. have some respect.

  • @ScrummyYummyStomach But he does have the most expensive machine ever where it does everything for him

  • @bubbajimmy8 No it just pumps it in, it doesnt calculate how much to inject, or tell him that he is going low or high. He still has to do all that, count every carbohydrate that he eats, he still has to do finger pricking. It doesnt do everything for him, the omnipod just makes injecting slightly easier. it doesnt remove diabetes does it?

  • @ScrummyYummyStomach No fucking shit , you fail to realize I have been diabetic for 10 years

  • @bubbajimmy8 How was i supposed to know that? Funny, you'd think a diabetic of ten years wouldn't say that the omnipod does everything for Nick when it doesnt?

  • @ScrummyYummyStomach do you realize how much it cost , it makes his life a hell of a lot better than everyone else , and he gets all the attention , I just think that its unfair , but sure I did exaggerate , but I have a pump for about a year now , and it has done wonders for me , I don't want to argue , but it is just the way I was raised it is constantly rammed into my head , think about the people who have it worse.

  • @bubbajimmy8 yes but he earned his money so he can spend it on what he wants and shouldnt be criticized for making that decision it isnt anything bad? And yes its good he gets all the attention it might shine the light on the seriousness on diabetes, and maybe all the teenage fans will feel the urge to fundraise which could only end in good things, maybe for the people who have it worse. I'd love to have the omnipod, your lucky and i dont like to argue either. hes just an inspiration to me :)

  • is he diagnosed at november 16 th ???

  • evryone tinks diabetes is just pricking your finger and/or arm like 15 times a day. Its not! nick jonas is letting the world know what it is and help find a cure. He is lucky he is only a teen so he can teach not just adults, but children as well.

  • ive got type 1 diabetes abd u r right

  • i was diagnosed on february 14, 2002 Im 14 and let me tell you... its hard to deal with so shut up and stop callin him a pussy you dont know how serious it is im 14 and i have already had a kidney transplant and i am in a wheelchair so you need to shut your mouths! its hard to live with! and i hope and pray that you get it too! because then maybe youll understand!

  • omg awhh :)

  • i think that people do feel sorry for him because of his diabetes and i dont think he wants symapthy i think he wants people to know about it so that maybe they wont feel scared if they get diagnosed with it and its true soo many other people are diagnosed with diabetes but thats why its important so that people like Nick can do campanes and things to bring about more awareness

  • he probably doesn't boast it

    disney on the other hand

  • Hey fuck you man; i have had diabetes for 6 years; AND I ALMOST DIED LAST SPRING BREAK; So give the kid a break; I feel bad that he has diabetes

  • @Gibsonsgman1214 Yeah, but it doesn't change the mood swings, the constant injections and checkups that come with diabetes, as well as the complications it causes. Than again, it's not cancer.

  • @Samuelthemad "Fag" or not, hes making a difference with diabetes? :)

  • If you look around youtube you will see a lot of videos made by other people who have diabetes and they are saying the same things. Are they wusses too?

  • Not every diabetes is the same...... you dummy, maybe your friends is more controlable..... Duh??????

  • there are only 2 you moron , 1 is what he has along with other millions of people , sure it affects everyone different , but it is not cancer he needs to get over it , his life is better than a normal person with no disease

  • I agree that his life is better than most, but he's not complaining about his diabetes, he's trying to do something positive with it. In fact, his entire message to kids with diabetes is that it doesn't hold you back, that you can do normal things and be healthy despite the disease. Oh, and by the way...you can die from diabetes if you aren't careful, it's very rare in this day and age, especially for someone like Nick who has top-of-the-line health care, but you can still die from it!

  • @amethystwolf24572 in his case , he wont , but I am complaining to him , I am mad at the idiots who sympathize for him rather than those who deserve the attention , diabetes is not cancer

  • @bubbajimmy8 Look, you don't have to tell me this, but everyone deserves sympathy for their hardships. My grandmother died of cancer, so I get it, but cancer isn't the only thing in the world worth sympathizing over. Obviously, he's not likely to die from it, and no, I don't have diabetes, so I don't really know what its like, but he is trying to do something positive, he's not complaining. You don't have a song, because you're not a songwriter...he is, so when he feels something, he writes.

  • @amethystwolf24572 I could have a song , anyone can have their talent , but don't use your talents to get publicity when you clearly do not deserve it , he is what like 17 now? he needs to grow up. And diabetes is different from me and Nicks

    ME

    - Test 8 times a day

    - I used to use syringes now I have a pump

    - watch my diet and count carbs and do the math

    Nick

    - His 1000 dollar machine does this all for him

  • @bubbajimmy8 very true he lives a normal life with that

  • @ilovegrangehill He has the best equipment , he probably takes 2 minutes out of his day for it , I am not arguing , I have been diabetic for 10 years , I am not arguing with a bunch of fan girls who don't know shit

  • @bubbajimmy8 WTF?? i only said he lives a normal lifes...:|

  • @ilovegrangehill Sorry i flipped , if you look at all the dumbasses I argued with , you will understand why I am a bit angry

  • @ilovegrangehill Its ok:), i know what your going through, I have it too:/:(

  • @bubbajimmy8 ..definetely his life is better than yours and mine !!!!!..... but still ..... it must be hard living with it.. for the rest of your life, .... And.. one more thing....whats your point in calling me moron...... ????????... you dont have to be offensive.... I could offend you to ... but I wont low myself to your limited level...

  • @bubbajimmy8 actually there a 3 types of diabetes, the other one occurs during pregnancy. :)

  • @ScrummyYummyStomach I KNOW , YOU DO NOT NEED TO TELL ME , IT ISN'T PERMANENT THAT IS WHY

  • @bubbajimmy8 it can be though. no need to get all capital letters on me.

  • @Igrandov I'm going to list some of the complications of diabetes for you, hopefully you can comprehend them.

    1.You can go blind.

    2.You can lose limbs.

3.There is always a risk of going into a coma.

    4.Kidney damage.

5.A more raised chance of stroke or heart attack.

Your friend might be going through a stage where diabetes is pushed to the back of there mind, its common.

Not all diabetics want sympathy. We just want a cure.

    Have some respect please.

  • what about the rest of america that has diabetes?

  • i have diabetes since 2008 : <

  • getting told you have something wrong with you is hard and people take it very well. :)

  • Hey screw you; I have diabetes also; 6 years for me; I almost died last spring break; and my mom cries everytime she talks about it; I would have missed senior sneak and graduation and college. So why don't you just be quiet about Nick Jonas and leave him alone; he is trying to get a message out to the world about diabetes

  • his mom is pretty

I hope you're doing okay! I can't imagine having diabetes so young! just remember to stay positive and i wish you good luck!
