wow I posted on here a year ago. You know, what I love about the arcade version was the winning theme you hear when you beat a level. The music is included in the nes rom after listening to extracted NSF, but was never used in the game. Was wondering if they were planning to keep the arcade mode in there, but change there minds at the last minute.

TETЯIS is the best version of this game EVER, the music in this game is just amazing.

Nintendo versio is so horrible, the court should rule it as illegal for ppl to play

btw, can i still get this game somewhere? i have the old 8 NES but not working no more, hoping SONY would port this version onto PS3 or PSP, that'll ROCK. :)

@realcuteguyyayiyayi the nintendo version in not bad it could be better.plus Atari (tengen) did not have right to sell tetris also thay made their own nes lock out chip and got sued because. of it

I have found a level select code. The code is: Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, B, B. then press the A button a certain amount of times to pick a certain level. Up to level 17.

you can do it once per level. But why? Even people who don't know how to play would waste it and people who do know how to play would not even dare to touch it.

Of course, the newer Tetris games (starting with The New Tetris for N64, plus most games from 2001 and later) let you do it all the time and even have a button dedicated to "hold piece".
