Hallo,

du bist nicht der erste, der mich das fragt. Die "Zusatzfunktionen" wie das Speichern von Zeiten, Average ausrechnen, etc. sind alle in Software realisiert. Durch weglassen dieser Funktionen vereinfacht sich die Hardware nicht im geringsten (ausser, dass man die entsprechenden Knöpfe halt nichtmehr verbauen muss). Das ganze zu bauen wird dadurch also nicht einfacher.

I am not sure exactly, that depends on the displays you buy. Mine was, with all components and the case, about $30 I guess.

Die Materialkosten sind zwar recht gering, aber der Zeitaufwand ist nicht zu vernachlässigen. Um die Platine herzustellen (ätzen, bohren, bestücken, löten, ...) habe ich fast einen ganzen Tag gebraucht, für das Gehäuse einen weiteren Tag.

Das lohnt sich nur als interessantes Hobby Projekt mit Lerneffekt, nicht in finanzieller Hinsicht zur "privaten Massenproduktion" :-)
