After all that, you will get an idea of why UFC is a sport.

@1banryukyu Well Bruce Lee as a young boy was always getting into fights in Hong Kong, he met up with Wing Chun Grand Master Ip Man and became Ip Man's greatest student, then Bruce leaned other arts such as Karate, Muay Tai, American Western Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikedo. Bruce wasn't a pro fighter per say, Bruce believed in full contact in a fight, because in pro fights there are rules which prohibit certain techniques that can't be used or are considered too lethal, moves such as the Dim Mak.

With Jeet Kune Do , Bruce was taking parts from fighting styles that are effective .
If I remember correctly there was even a grappling illustration in his book that looked a lot like a sprawl .
Anyhoo what I am saying is that I think Bruce would love MMA and see it as a natural progression of his own philosophy .

@1banryukyu Well Bruce Lee as a young boy was always getting into fights in Hong Kong, he met up with Wing Chun Grand Master Ip Man and became Ip Man's greatest student, then Bruce leaned other arts such as Karate, Muay Tai, American Western Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikedo. Bruce wasn't a pro fighter per say, Bruce believed in full contact in a fight, because in pro fights there are rules which prohibit certain techniques that can't be used or are considered too lethal, moves such as the Dim Mak.

Would people who train in Wado Ryu Karate, Uechi Ryu, G(K)ung Fu, Kobudo, Kyokushin, Iaido, Naganata ect, feel that he way too? I will give you the Majority of people who train in Jeet Kune Do "may" feel that way, but I have not taken a survey of all them, so that too is only speculation.

@tekaharau Muhammed Ali only lost because Ali was stripped of the title and had to go to Prison for a few Years, because Ali did not want to go to Vietnam and in those days it was very Racist. So Ali lost because of Ring Rust. Had Ali never went to Prison he would have never lost. Bruce Lee never went to Prison so i don't think he would ever get Rusty at all, Bruce always got better and didn't interfere with American affairs except when he made his movies.
