ABC shows this film every year around EASTER holiday. Except for once when they broadcast the later version. It must have bombed because the next year they went back to this one. I tried watching the later version when they broadcast it, but it did not impress me in the least. KUDOS to ABC for showing this in a time when religion is always being attacked!!!

I have been looking for the movie called A.D. It is an amazing movie and I wish someone would post it. It is about the events following the crucifixion. It shows the resurrection and the receiving of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. It makes me cry every time I watch it. It is one of my favorite biblical epics ever made (The Ten Commandments is my ultimate favorite), but it seems that few people know about it. If anyone knows about this amazing movie please respond.

I'm basically an agnostic, but I've always loved this movie. It really makes me hope that there is a God out there who helps the weak triumph over the strong, exalts the humble and humbles the proud, and who ensures that justice comes to the world despite the best efforts of men to prevent its arrival. I can't wait to watch it again this Passover/Easter season!
