@HaudMiBackPal unfortunately they wouldn't send me new covers as it wasn't covered by warranty, i ended up just getting some really strong cement glue to glue them (cleanly and carefully) back to the chassis. The glue I used is available from a hardware store, but if you get it on your hands be prepared to live with it on there for quite a while!

Similar problem developing here on my Asus F3Ke. How'd you resolve this. Were Asus able to send you replacement hinge coverclips?
