whats the difference in the regular verses the voile de fleur ???? both being Parfum...

@mikejforever Voile de Fleur is a voluptuous tropical floral scent (think gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, etc). Black Orchid is SUCH the opposite. It's totally dark and earthy. Overripe and sweet. It's a different monster.

Tom Ford is the best perfume of all time! I am a man and I love wearing it. But not a huge fans of Black orchid voile de fleur though. If you are man and you want something sexy and sophisticated but daring, this perfume is for you.

oh my gosh.i remember the first time i wore this out..i was thinking it was going to be like some of my other perfumes, where you need a few sprays...i sprayed it about 5 times.. everybody in the car i was in was choking. i had to go back home and change my clothes LOL. i learned my lesson. 1 spray it is.

It WAS marked to both. I think originally women, then relaunched as unisex. As a male I just bought a bottle too! 30 ml cause gawd daym this stuff is like black permanent marker. Everyone will know you're wearing it and I can still smell it even after I shower!

@ariscotm It's the best after a couple hours. I hardly get any floral out of it, so I think that's why I like it so much. Just a pleasant, warm, amberish, slightly sweet, slightly spicy drydown. Very nice.

I'll be taking your advice and spraying it on its own.

Hahaha funny opening! I bought my mom Black Orchid for mother's day last year (this year it's Samsara!) and she loved it. I agree, this is almost a masculine floral to me. I've worn it once or twice to verify that, and I have come to the conclusion that if this was marketed as unisex, a lot more guys would be getting it...
