I'm sick of liberals praising so-called 'moderate' Muslims who kindly denounce suicide bombings yet still believe the Koran is the literal word of Allah dictated to them by the Prophet Mohammed. It is wonderful to realize that EVERYONE has those who are liberal, conservative and maybe just a little prejudices. I am not a Muslim but it allows me to see how foolish non Muslims are towards those who are Muslims. When we see each other as having similar problems, we learn to respect each other. Moses, David, Solomon and all prophets of Israel including Jesus gave the message of Islam: Moses said, "Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is one Lord " and Jesus said the same and Muhammad said, "There is no god but God" (a firmer form of the same message).

@dasenuff The only redemption in the Torah is that of freeing a someone through ransom money. I was talking about the New Testament concept of redemption, deliverance from all sins and salvation by the blood of Christ. In the Torah, only God is able to "redeem" Man i.e. forgive sins not free through ransom money, just as it is in the Quran. The way to salvation is through believing in God and following His commandments as the Prophets instruct.

Before the Council of Nicea, Christians were actually confused about the number of gods in Christianity - some believed two, others believed three, etc. Ironically it was the pagan Constantine who decided which the Christian doctrines to follow and chose the one founded by a Jew named Paul in the Council of Nicea. The original flag of Islam carried by Muhammad and his companions was the black flag called the black standard and about the word "Allah" it is a contraction of "al-ilah" and means "God". @dasenuff The only redemption in the Torah is that of freeing a someone through ransom money. I was talking about the New Testament concept of redemption, deliverance from all sins and salvation by the blood of Christ. In the Torah, only God is able to "redeem" Man i.e. forgive sins not free through ransom money, just as it is in the Quran. The way to salvation is through believing in God and following His commandments as the Prophets instruct.

The original flag of Islam carried by Muhammad and his companions was the black flag called the black standard and about the word "Allah" it is a contraction of "al-ilah" and means "God".
