I've always been fairly hip-hop oriented when it came to music. However, I revere a slew of artists in different genres. Morissette has one of the most chill-provoking voices in music. She can be mentioned in the same upper echelon as Joplin, and I can only name O'riordan as one of a couple worthy female opponents in Alanis' genre/era . She becomes so entrenched in her music her body and eyes seem uncontrolled. I can only succumb to respect her talent, and most should follow.
