Anyway, I thought it was strange that the women were left out of the desishions too. I mean half the times they were called to the cockpit on the plane all they could do was look out the window. It wasn't like Cuesack or the rushen guy were going to fly the plane.

I can remember when Pirate Radio came out at the start of this year, my friends begged me to go and see it but i begged them not to and i ended up going and i loved it too. Fantastic decision.

I agree I like 2012 a lot and there was a lot of peopel in the movies watich it that some of them had to set on the floor but I fell bad of those peopel that left and wait intell the next show but I glad that I did not left cuz I relly wanted to see this movie. GRACE LOOK HOT!!!!!

I don't agree about 2012 - the special effects were amazing, and the first part of the movie was interesting but there was very little plot and way too much cheese. The dramatic destruction scenes were way overused and didn't feel suspensful by the time the first hour was over - we watched basically the same thing with the plane taking off as the runway collapses behind it 3-4 times in the film! And towards the end the camera angles were awful. Special effects is the only thing this film's got.

I gotta say, my heart broke a little when you said 2012 was great. I haven't seen it, but I've been making such solid plans not to see it since it looks like almost three hours of SFX-Apocalypse porn, and I can't remember the last time I was so annoyed with a movie's b.o. success. But I just realized that I've never seen ANY of Emmerich's movies on the big screen. I'm gonna have to reconsider now, but I have the sneaking dark suspician that I'll end up hating it. Phew!

I usually think it is a dumb idea to release a Christmas movie in November (such as "Christmas with the Kranks" and "Survivng Christmas") but I feel that "A Christmas Carol" will settle near the top of the BO until the end of the holiday season. This way the film will sell more tickets as audience interest in the holiday grows through the month of December. Not to mention it being a well-known story, well animated, and in gimmiky 3-D (IMO).

I heared on TV (and actually I find it to be true lol) that the director of 2012 is just like a little kid and takes the planet as his big playground where he can destroy everything he wants.

I think that more than a job and making movies he enjoys destroying the world.

I'm still deciding whether or not I should see 2012. On one hand, I have a fiery hatred for Emmerich. On the other hand, I have a thing for giant, epic action films without much of a storyline; hell, I'm a huge defender of both Transformers films!
