gOS is a Google, Linux Based OS. This is an older version, I am running a newer version on my Dell. It is decent, but I enjoy Ubuntu a lot more.

If anything OSX is pleasing to the eye. Windows has made strides at making their interface more attractive, but still it needs work. Their colors still seem clownish. It is understandable that other OS's would emulate the more attractive OSX interface.

Not really, desktop environments which focus on "customizability" can easily be modified to look like Windows.  In my opinion Linux distros by default look a lot more like Windows than by OS X (I have my old desktop posted here. My new one looks far more Vista'ish (Vista Ultimate wallpaper and Vista themes) but it has 2 Mac-like docks). E17 doesn't really look like Mac OS or Vista at all though it maintains all the eye-candy goodness XD.

all others? how many have you tried? any at all? The operating system itself doesn't look like anything. Except maybe the mac OS which is a ripoff of FreeBSD. The GUI, however, may be similar, or customized to look very similar. Then again the question is: How many window managers / desktop environments have you tried, if any at all? gOS has nothing to do with Google. It is a version of Ubuntu using a customized version of the Enlightenment desktop. Enlightenment was chosen because it is light on resources while delivering a very attractive desktop experience for the user.
