Well... yeah! The kid isn't an alien, he is human. People always seem to mistaken my call for inaccuracies as wanting none of the crazy shit. Not true. Haruko is an alien, the part of him getting run over and getting hit with a guitar is the cartoon/manga element the series takes from, the gigant alien robots are explained within the context of the story (if not in a manner we can fully understand.) So all those have reasons within the series. However, my complaint is left unanswered. I WIN!

you are right. FLCL was a classic and almost a tribute to the pillows. They are a great band and probably showed japanese music to a lot of people. Bleach and Naruto really can't live up to Fooly Cooly; They are so new and have too many episodes to be so personal like FLCL.
