It works you just need to practice it a bit.

When you first try, you might have the box fly into the elevator or out of the elevator instead, so just restart last checkpoint and try again. One time trying I ended on top of the elevator and decided I'd try and stay there...but I ended up dying and getting thrown to the floor when it moved lol

there is a small box on the table to the left, the left table if you are facing the elevator, on that table it is a box, and it has like a wheel on its side, jump up to the table and push the little box down and behind the big box that is in front by the table. and then, when the little box is behind the big box, just walk on the little box so it hits the big box, and that will make the big box move. subscribe to me if you have more questions. TRY THIS AND STOP ASKING =D

ok listen every one. there is a box, a small box on the tale closest to the big box that launches you. that little box hs like a, wheel on its side. you are going to push that little box behind the big one. and then push the little on the big, that will make the big box move. LISTEN TO THIS AND TRY IT

You do know there is gravity in space? There is no such thing as "zero gravity" there is always a gravitational force pulling on you. He would need a certain amount of energy to escape the earth's gravitational pull even at that radius.

also the fact that he is in a VIDEO game even a great game like halo and that bungie has a budget that they cant get past might help explain that and they would be in an extremly low gravity being that high up it would be like on the I.S.S. but they have articial gravity on the orbital mac gun

huh im trying this now, not sure if this is the only way to move the box but the one that is closest to the door, you run into it, then stop, walk back, and repeat over and over you will eventually get it to the door (i have sputnik). i mean REALLY slow like an inch each push.

So I'm not the only one who figured this out, one tome I tried to get to the second floor before the elevator in armory to explore cairo station but instead of launching to the second floor I launched as high as you did and died once I reached the ceiling of the level.

taizerswh, to get down safely you need the Jet Pack Skull. To get that you have to put in the Halo 1 cd, go to the 3rd level, when it starts walk backward, spin around twice counter clock wise, then jump up to the left, it is under the burning board. Then go back to the top of the Mac Gun, activate the jet pack and you can fly all over the entire game getting every skull.

@kotorus its really hard, i got the mac gun vertical launch only 3 times in an hour, the slant launch happens more often. positioning the box is critical. SRL made a tutorial for the setup but its still very hard to do.
