That malamute has an pretty thin/pointed muzzle for being an Alaskan Malamute. Is it possibly a hybrid or a mix with a Siberian Husky?

Zoey is quite young in this video still. She has filled out more in the face since then. If you look at my newest video of them, taken this winter, you'll see the difference. She is pure Alaskan Malamute, with nearly 20 champions in her pedigree 5 and 6 generations back.
