Great Video. I wish we had the ability to slow down the animation, or play the same video repeatedly. Do you use 'vpython' for these simulations? I think I listened to your talk in one of the AAPT meetings?
I use POVRay directly, although I think it was Ruth Chabay who wrote a vpython to povray export tool some time ago. I'll often loop the video using the original media file and another player like quicktime.
You can grab almost all the videos from the project web site listed on my channel page.
Older videos are shorter from the days before bandwidth, and may be re-rendered.
And yes, that was me. I've given a couple of project update talks/posters at AAPT. :-)
I am a teacher and it is sumtimes very difficult to make the students understand electric motor as it requires a lot of imagination for the students and a great effort to visualise the whole set up. This video is just what i needed. Thank you very much.

The answer to what electricity is is that there is NO answer, since NOBODY knows what electricity even is EXACTLY... not scientist, engineers, electricians,etc......
