@kaq35 you will need to install many add ons for more graphics, and to start in taxi position, you need to select a gate from the starting position option on free flight.

@Muffinman53ify Both Chicago and Paris were airports with addons. Chicago uses fsdreamteam's addon, and paris uses aerosoft simwings's addon. Aerosoft AES were put into both addons.

@thethirdsayaman I changed the sim rate to make certain portions of the flight shorter.

@thethirdsayaman You can speed the sim up to a mad 32 x real time. I tend to pick flights that have a 45 - 55 nav log time, getting prepared taxing and following a IFR approach will mean it takes about a hour and half gate to gate.

@lazaroszet the altitude holder usually should be able to hold your altitude. Make sure the master switch on autopilot is on by pressing z. Also, set your vertical speed switch to 0, so the airplane does not accidentally climb or descend.

@TomKennyIsLovely this flight only took about 1 hour because I changed the sim rate. To open a map, you press a shortcut in the 2d cockpit. You can also open a gps in the cockpit.

@hgvwi you need to be at an airport where you have AES activated (usually with credits). Then, you should be able to open the AES window with ctrl+shift+w
