  • I like it. The only thing I would have done was leave the sails off. It hides too much of the nice deck details. I've also enjoyed looking at your collection on another video.

  • I believe the Sea Witch (later rereleased with plastic decks by Lindberg) is the original kit. Marx molded it in white, changed the figurehead, and called it "Swordfish" to get another product out of the development materials. Revell did the same thing with its big ship kits. The box art is indeed stunning, and the tin litho decks are an interesting example of how Marx straddled the line between model company & toy company.

  • I have this plastic model . It has never been put together. It is in the exact box it came out in. A retired 91 year old Judge gave it to me . Can some-one tell me value of this? I have plastic model of Louis Marx Swordfish.
