my great aunt seen her too, she said she wore a white gown, she had long black hair, her hair covered her eyes, she was pale, wrinkly, and she was tall, her hands were thin and her fingers were too, her nails were long and black
well this is in san antonio texas right by 1604 i use to live near that place, well not right near it but like round 10 miles from there called the bridge woman hollering creek
sure....if you can get me that id be greatful....my wife is from el paso and my mother-in-law is always saying how she heard her several times....very creepy!!!
Really good story! The La Llorona folktale is a classic. It even inspired an episode of the t.v. show, "Supernatural", however, they don't give the subject justice.
los gringos no saben bien pero segun cuando la escuchas que llora lejos esque esta cerca y si escuchas que llora cerca esque esta lejos asi que tengan cuidao que en una de esas se mueren!!!
you guys might think i'm just bullshit'n but one late ass night i was driving home from work and i usally take this short cut road that's next to this big creek in the middle of nowhere. this happened about 2 weeks ago, while i was driving i could of sworn i heard a lady crying.so i stopped and listen more, then a couple seconds later i seen this lady all dressed in white on the other side of the creek crying then that's when i got the hell out of there. she looks extremly scary...
Around my area, the story goes that once there was a very pretty woman(or what most called her) named Maria and that she was one of the most prettiest women in the town and she was married to some guy, but the guy ran away with another woman from another town and left her with their two kids. One day she was shopping or something and a stranger from out of town came and saw her and they talked and ended up meeting up alot.
Then one day he said he wanted to take her away, but not with her kids. She thought she was so in love with him that she took the kids to the river in hopes that she could just let them wander and she would walk away and let them wonder till they figured she ditched them. But instead, they fell into the river and it swept them away. She ended up freaking out and jumped into the river to save them and ended up drowning with them. They say you can see her walking up and down looking for her kids.
this is wat i heard there wuz this lady who lived in a town not that far from the border well her nd her husband seperated nd she had i think 2 kids nd so she used to go to the dance nd one nite she meet a guy and they...^
fell in love but one day he found out that she had kids nd he didnt want kids so he told her u kill ur kids to be with me or leave me nd at that time she had no money nd he wuz rich so she killed her kids in the river near by well he told her i dont want to be wit someone who just killed ppl nd he left her so now every nite u hear her ghost walking up nd down the river crying searching for her kids but like u said theres different versions of it
Well done. A small technical detail for future projects you may undertake: in the medium portrait shot of the subject leave a few inches of headspace as you did with angle of vision towards the left. Again, congratulations.
la llorona appears in many places its really messed up so there are many variations of the story the stories of how she came to be might be bull shit but this thing is real ive heard her so has my big sister and my youngest sister actually saw her one night and we live in the rio grande valley brownsville,tx to be exact
In New Mexico, me aunt told me about her. I was scared shitless for a week. Apparently there was a feature film made about her. But due to a lot of gore nobody has bought it yet.

My grandmother saw her too once as a little child. She went out to use the outhouse,
and she saw her in the yard. Then, was
gone. Her spirit is said to haunt the Rio Grande and other rivers in Latin America.
