  • When the Jock's Road and Beinn an Lochan videos were made my knowledge of Gaelic pronounciation was pretty dire. Since that time I have attended the Gaelic College Sabhal Mor Ostaig on Skye so that my Gaelic pronounciation now stands a better chance of being a bit better. Bryan Cromwell

  • loved the video.i have walked jocks road from glen doll.i halso had some great weather for walking.keep up the fantastic work

  • We made 6 films as part of an educational programme for Coatbridge College. Bryan, the presenter, director and producer is now a retired lecturer but still enjoys hillwalking. No, none were ever broadcast, the Jock's Road one was made as a tribute to the five men who perished there in a blizzard, one had worked as a lecturer at Coatbridge College. I can supply a full copy of the DVD.

  • How many of these films were made and were they ever aired on TV? Also are they available on DVD?

  • Thoroughly enjoyed the video. It's great to hear some of the history associated with this route. For me it's the history of a landscape that brings it to life.

  • Did this walk in reverse in October 08, nice to see what it looks like in fair weather. excellent narration and camera work.

  • Fantastic camera work, editing and presenting. You two should have had your own TV series :)
