I picked up a NV100 a few months ago. Works as advertised. The foam is really smelly when new. Like mothballs. I washed it by hand several times with dish soap and let them air out outside. I carry a CCW and use this when I have to leave it in the car. It's good protection against a smash-n-grab thief who hopefully doesn't have a pair of wire cutters for that cable. Better if you bolt it down.
@Rotti1969 I got the NV100 and fit my Glock 17 and 1 mag in it. It is a tight fit, but better tight than loose.
I was wondering about the plastic post. I saw that on a floor model and was disappointed. However, when I bought one and opened it up, it had a metal lock on it. I even took the screw out and it looks to be all metal under it.
Its not going to last long against tools, but it is very concealable.
I recently purchased nv200, put my gun there and was trying to slide the safe under very heavy dresser. accidencially the bottom edge of the dresser stepped on the vault. I was just woundered was my gun compressed there a little bit? I didnt see any physical damage to the safe surface and it wasnt bent.

I bought two of these. One was broken (the lock mechanism is housed on a plastic post - the post is sheared off).
Both are warped. There is a gap of 1/8" near the front on each of them. It would take nothing but a flat screw driver to pop these open.
They are not deep enough to carry a Glock or similar double stack magazine type pistol, in my experience.
I did also buy a GunVault Multi-vault deluxe and am happy with it.
Not burglar proof completely, but quick enough for me to access in a hurry.
