based on this animation. i would say he was helping her get an apple from a tree and he fell, and went into a coma. and then in this world he must defeat this monster in order to wake up. once it is "dead" or "defeated" he wakes up and see the girl who has been waiting for him. also, in this world he was "cut" and when he wakes up he has stitches there, meaning he was probably cut when he fell. right?

awsome. so the guy goes to get an anpple for the girl when their younger, he falls goes into a coma, during that time i guess in his mind that black monster is the thing keeping him in a coma. when he beats it he comes out of the coma and its x years later. (and she's still there for him, how sweet)

@Animejazzcat2007 I'd agree, except that the cut on his face is new when he wakes up. He must've entered into unconsciousness/the coma fairly recently. He also sees the girl as an adult in his dream. If it were so many years ago, it would also be pretty unlikely that the girl just happens to be right next to him when he wakes up. I think that the apple memory was symbolic, but probably not what put him in the hospital.

This was very cool. I love how it was like he was kind of fighting an inner battle for his life. The animation on the monster was very well done. The movements on the boy were a bit jerky at times, but overall it was pretty amazing. Something like this would be very hard to animate, and it didn't look like you used flash, though I could be wrong.
