I'm gonna get my nose and chin done as soon as I have the opportunity to do it and can afford it. I hope I can have it done sooner than later. I'm almost 18, and I know there's no way my parents are gonna pay for it. 'Cause they don't get how much it bothers me, and how much it's gonna improve my self-confidence once I have it done. So I'm gonna have to pay for it myself, and it's probably gonna take a long time before I can afford it unfortunately. But I'll get there at some point :)

im happy with my nose in ths summer because i feel it heels down and looks narrower and better in shape than in winter.. in winter it seems to bulge sometimes and looks like as if it expands when it gets cold. from the right it looks fine, but from the left it looks pointier and crooked in pictures. i know Lebanon is the best country for all cosmetics so hopefully when im older :)

Be careful.

There are plenty out there that are less skilled, arrogant, and they can leave an utter mess that costs a fortune to attempt to fix.

I hate my nose so much its ok from the front but my profile is horrible it sticks out so much and its way to big for my face, my brother and sister have small cute noses like my mam but i got stuck with my dad's nose ! Why do most plastic surgeons use the "open" Rhinoplasty? I wonder how they decide when to use open vs closed? Or is it just based on what the surgeon is most comfortable with? The open Rhinoplasty looks barbaric. And the healing looks like it takes so much longer.

@dogfan4lyfe open rhinoplasties are used in most cases. closed rhinoplastiesa re usually used for smokers or patients with other complications, so if you're healthy you're more likely to have an open. smokers have thicker skin and a lack of oxygen so i think it takes a longer time to heal, thus the closed rhinoplasty. really if you get an open rhinoplasty the surgeon is better able to do what they want rather than trying to maneuver around inside your nostrils.

my nose didnt hurt at all, i was on T3'S so thats why i didnt feel any pain. and it didnt bleed much, there was a little draining and that lasted for about a week. and my nose was stuffy for a few weeks, which is really good casue usually your nose gets stuffy for a couple months, and i can breath fine out of it now.

it was all worth it and the important thing is, it mkaes me happy.

that's the main thing about surgery, if it makes you happy then it's worth it in the end.

@sporemedical i had a question.i just had a nose job and the tip looks to high up. which makes the side sort of ski slopish my doctor told me it will all go down because its swelled but i want to no how long it will take because i feel so insecure about it. my nose is also very tall and thick.the bump is gone but the rest isnt making me feel any better

7,000 is actually the base price in cali. in new york, a good nose job cost one of my coworkers 12 grand. I didn't have it with this guy, but with one of the best ps in beverly hills. I wish my insurance could cover it, that's if I had health insurance, which I don't.

The nose keeps developing until the age of 16 (some say 15), after that age it is possible to have the surgery.

A couple more years and you are ready to go.

If you are planning to have nose surgery it is better to have it performed while you are young as older people are more difficult to operate on because their skin is less flexible therefore harder to design.
