the anime is better its romeo x juliet the characters are more well rounded in the series than here and the plot is thicker not to mention the love story more realistic though i do not suggest it for die hard fans of the original as it does take some extreme liberties with the source material

Anyway, this is truly one of the greatest if not the best verions of the Shakespeare classic. I hope they won't do a 3D version of it lol, but I do hope they remaster it and show it again. I miss that Elizabethan English in films.
