  • wow!! applying full power at that speed on t/o must have got a few chips on the old prop??

  • @DJbriaz Naw.. as long as the airplane has forward airflow you can giver, the Six is usually slightly nose high all the time. 90% of the prop wear is from ground idle or taxing slow with tail into the wind... that's all I fly off is gravel strips everyday. Keeping the airplane into wind while parking or taxiing is key.. but now and then you can really hear the tings when a rock is picked up. I don't think I ever had damage during the takeoff roll.

  • Fasinating stuff does anyone here know where i could find Coral rapids? it's not on the map.

  • Wish I was there instead of at my crappy job.

  • @king7wood Why don't you change your job?

  • @jmr604 You're right... Thanks

  • hey cousin good video

  • @nativeboi7 Cousin? lol

  • your vids never disappoint.

  • Dang, what is the practical use of this airport for lack of a better term?

  • @BeechSundowner Mainly is it used by the family of the company I fly for, they have a cottage a short drive from this location.

  • Another cool video...

  • @topgunkilla2 You don't need any type of special training to do bush flying. As long as you exercise good judgment and don't do anything that is unsafe or beyond what you are capable of. But, for safety reason if a pilot is inexperienced we will limit where he/she goes until they gain more exprience. For instance to this runway, we would not send an inexperienced pilot to this location until we know they are proficient enough.

  • @jmr604 oh cool.. do you know if it is the same in the USA? i could understand that you need a lot of experience to be doing landings and takeoff on that type of terrain and know the limitation of the aircraft.

  • @topgunkilla2 not sure about FAA regulations. I never looked into them.

  • @topgunkilla2 Some companies require that you complete a "Mountian Flying Course" before you can work or rent aircraft in mountianous regions. However, Transport Canada does not issue a rating or endorsement for mountain flying training. There are no standards established to ascertain the proficiency of a pilot in this environment. But insurance companies at least try to make sure some kind of training is done.. for obvious reasons. Flying in mountians envolves more risk.

  • I was trying to tell where the runway was until short final! =P Awesome video, you sure are a good pilot.

  • great
