  • ha ha i got pulled for sort ov same reason, but my stanley locked properly and it was like a scapul blade, told them i just finish work, warehouse work, and they let me go on my way lol

  • How many times do you tell this policeman and then he asks the same question again. He is just making all his questioning up as he goes along. What a complete waste of taxpayers money

  • This is what happens when two dim wits randomly meet.

  • I understand police nowadays have so much paperwork and forms etc to fill in on everybody they arrest. Why on earth was this guy interviewed. It was absurd to arrest him in the first place but surely he should have just had a cautian at the police station at the most. Why waste all the time and effort to go through an interview. What a farce

  • I was cutting back some trees and bushes and i pulled out a machete, because it was near a path that school kids used i took it and placed it under my jacket in the van. When i was working i spotted a police officer and waved at him but he looked confused so i took the machete and pointed at him with it so he could see it he came took my name and left it with me until a van came to collect it. no action taken.

  • this is fake i got stopped by the police and i showed them my box cutting knife for my warehouse job and when asked why i had it i just said for work and that was it so this vid doesnt seem right to me the police in birmingham must have mental illness probably from pulling dead kids from burnt out cars not a nice job at all

  • A sharply bladed stanley knife, as apposed to a bluntly bladed stanley knife.

  • IT'S A FUCKING BOARD, MADE OUT OF FOAM, CUT BY A KNIFE, WHICH HE KEEPS IN HIS BAG, AND HE'S AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL ENGLAND. Fucking 'ell.,..

  • But a stanley knife in so many case is a legitimate tool for work or hobbies. This was not a genuine situation as workmen and art students carry them all the time legitimately. Any cop should know that and if this victim had gone to court it would have been thrown out.

  • He didnt ask how much it was which surprised me!

  • Thanks copper but I will have my day in court. This plod do a real service to make the county a better place.

  • So if you need a knife for school, how do you get it there. post it...........lol.

  • @SCD4 No, you carry it.

  • @007RoyalFlush Yep my point. lol

  • @SCD4 ...Right. Where was your point?

  • @007RoyalFlush errr sarcasm. lol

  • @SCD4 You're not making any sense.

  • This is what happens when you lower the entry standard for entry to the Police Force!!! What a dumbo!!!! I have never heard such a load of unnecessary questions, repeatedly asked by such a retard!!!!!

  • do they get these police from mental hospitals or are they from special needs schools?

  • why anyone would except a caution if they are inocent of any crime is beyond me.....never speak to cops ..

  • As a retired west mids officer I am amazed you got a caution! You had a lawful reason for carrying the knife - no offence commited! Oh, and BTW, I don't think most officers would have made this interview last as long as it did, most would have realised you were not in anyway a criminal and not even locked you up in the first place........ Jobs worth comes to mind!

  • " I''ve got no further questions at this stage" lol...What else could he possibly ask? He's asked everything at least three times. Foam cards, foam cards,.... not phone cards.

Is there a part 2 featuring "Stanley knife, not Stanleys wife" ?

  • this is an absolute rubbish this looks like a spanish inquisiton

  • Comment removed

  • I am sorry to hear about this harming your future. It is the stupidest things I have heard in a long time. This is a prime example of extreme laws that don't do anything but get good people in trouble. I cut leather often & have several utility knives & carry them all over without even thinking. If I go somewhere to alter a jacket or something I just throw one in my purse or car & it may be there for weeks. The UK needs to evaluate the direction their laws are going & if they help with crime.

  • This copper must have had a lot of free time on his hands! and where was the duty sergeant who allowed this, normally they are the ones with some sense about them. failing that ask for a inspector then superintendent.

Tell them fuck all apart from what their job is. part with none your own information unless it`s totally useless (and you feel like a chat) and except nothing from them.

  • He was trying to incriminate him while questioning. don't talk to the police.

  • lol more or less the same thing happened to me about 2 years ago when i worked for iceland, i was stop searched for no reason and was carrying a box cutter 'which is a razor blade mounted in a piece of plastic as im sure you know' anyway this officer instantly arrested me even though i was wearing an iceland uniform and had clearly had just finished work. i got a caution aswell which has since been deleted from my record as i have had crb checks and passed cleanly.

  • @ThepornKaiser

get a freedom of information request on your criminal record (it will cost £25.00 I think).

Your caution will still be there. CRB checks won't show it unless you go for a government/civil servant/police/teacher etc type of job.

  • And all this has cost the public £how much? to establish what?...what happens if I am a carpet fitter? and I am going to a house and a over zealous Numpty who thinks that because he has a uniform on, he can kidnap me? Here's me thinking that we live in a democratically elected society, which we all "Have to follow the rules for?" When did we agree to be "Tazered? or pepper sprayed?"

Better still when was it put to us that we should allow the "Police" to carry such weapons? do we stop and them?

  • @bigdav123456 You are quite the moron indeed. Are you suggesting that you should personally be consulted when police are using their common law and statute given right to carry weapons that assist them in the course of their duty? Your MP agreed for you to be tasered when the parliamentary decision was made to allow the police to carry those specific items.

  • @007RoyalFlush A Moron in Parliament said they should be allowed to carry such things not me. Apparently we are governed and Policed by consent are we not? If not, what's all the bollocks spouted about democratic rights?..

We all know that if Voting changed anything it would be illegal, so what's the point in voting for the fucking Idiots who create rules that "Only" they can live by, and fuck the rest of us.!

It is you and your conformist way of thinking that's fucked up....

  • @bigdav123456 Your comments outline how poor your understanding of a democracy is. We are policed by consent. What that means is the your MP voices the majority opinion of his constituents in Parliamentary decisions.

  • @collegefreaks2000 pen knives CAN be justified to be legal in the right circumstance. There is no such thing as a knife which is legal to carry. The law does however state that a locking kife is automatically illegal regardless of the circumstance under which it is carried, because they have the potential to cause significantly more damage to a person than a folding blade.

  • There is no length of blade which is automatically legal to carry, however there is a length which makes it automatically illegal to carry. If a police officer suspects that the blade is going to be used as a weapon, regardless of the length, then that blade is an offensive weapon. Simple as.

  • @007RoyalFlush

It wasn't the length of blade that was against the law, it was the fact that the blade could be locked into position. I understand that pen knives are legal because they have folding knives.

What difference that makes as to whether a folding knife is less likely to harm than a locking knife I don't have the foggiest.

  • @collegefreaks2000

A lot of pen knives have locking blades too.

TBH the best way to avoid this kind of thing is to just ask if you are free to go when they ask to search you, and if they say anything other than "no" then you walk off.

  • @007RoyalFlush suspecting and proving are two very diffrent things........no way a court would convict anyone for carrying a tool.......

  • @mrsuperbafrango Shows how little you know. Courts can, and often do convict people of such things. There was no lawful excuse to carry it, regardless of what 7128mcduff believes (quite clearly NOT an ex copper). He even said that he didn't have college that day, so there was no excuse.

  • @007RoyalFlush show me the law that requires me to have a "lawfull excuse" to do anything?...the law does not work that way ....you have no idea how the law works ...."like most police officers" ....if he had got leagle advice the police would of been forced to let him go fact!.....the only reason he got a caution is becuse he agreed to it ....the cps can not charge you for carrying a stanly knife used as a tool lmao@a it was his day off collage so its unlawfull...you moron!

  • @mrsuperbafrango Prevention of Crime Act 1953 - Any person who without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, the proof whereof shall lie on him, has with him in any public place any offensive weapon shall be guilty of an offence, and shall be liable. You need to learn the law, youngster; rather than excreting your extremely bad interpretation of it.

  • @mrsuperbafrango Before you say it, yes I know that stanley knives are not automatically classed as offensive weapons, however if an officer believes that ANY object is made, intended or adapted to be used as a weapon, then that items is an offensive weapon. If you intend to use a rubber duck to hit someone, then that rubber duck is an offensive weapon.

  • @007RoyalFlush ..........or a jelly or a dog or plate of chips. Thanks for you help.

  • UK must be a scary place to live. Seems like you cant carry anything to protect yourself with if you are attacked. People cant even keep a gun in their home to protect their families from psychopaths. No wonder violent crime there is twice the rate as that of the US. Just insane.

  • even the police are being dumbed down. gold help everyone

  • "What hours do you do your course" This is where the wonderful orifice realised it was all LOST

  • My point is instead of interveiwing him, they could be catching real criminals instead.

  • you look surprisingly like Peter Tobin in this video.

  • If you are innocent of any crime, don't be intimidated into accepting a caution, stand your ground and refuse at all costs.....once you accept a caution (just coz your scared and want to go home) you will then have a criminal record....which believe me WILL stay with you for life...when employers require an enhanced CRB it WILL show up...and in this case "carrying an offensive weapon" How will that look to a prospective employer. NEVER ACCEPT A CAUTION.

  • FFS. is this guy asama bin laden, or just a normal guy going about his business. how long will it bge before they start arresting women for carrying an eyelash stick or a hair pin, etc. they authorities in this country are totally parenoid.

  • He's not clueless he just doing his job, how they fuck do we know u wouldn't use it u didn't need to carry it that day u wasn't even at college. Get a fucking locker OR put it in ur mates locker if u got them IDIOT!!!!!

  • You can legally carry a blade under 3 inches, a stanley blade is under 3" You can also carry a larger knife if you have a lawful reason. Such as for work. Thick fucking brummie pigs. You should sue the bastards for assault, and unlawful imprisonment

  • @paul1967uk I don't see why and 3" blade and under could do more damage them a big one these laws are fcuking priceless!!!!!!

  • ok so you accepted a official police caution, accepting a caution is also an admission of guilt otherwise the caution cannot be issued..so why after all this time bring it all back up again, lost the plot on this one. the officer doesnt seem the brightest button in the tin but you were one that accepted a caution so whos the sparkiest out of the two of you?...and you have the cheek to take the mickey out of someone pointing the obvious out to you about employment, yeah ok mr educated one.

  • cops are control freaks and these are thick ones

  • untill a member of your family has his or her juggular cut on the street the you might understand , its fcking illigal to carry a knife on the street , even more so because yo had no college that day . SPAZ

  • @1jonnydangerous1

Spaz, lol, what an insult. Have a nice day.

  • @collegefreaks2000 fagggggg

  • @1jonnydangerous1 if you are trying to make a point, dont use so much slang like 'yo' or 'spaz'

  • @1jonnydangerous1 SPAZ???!!! That's from my gran's era...Get with the times you retarded twat!!!!

  • @TheChazbird chaz the SPAZ!

  • @1jonnydangerous1 - It is not illegal to carry a knife! So long as the blade is less that 2 1/4" long with a non - locking blade. You can carry a knife of ANY size in connection with your occupation or something which requires the use of a knife, such as shooting, fishing etc. Get your facts right, he was well within the law - its a stanley knife for gods sake not a cruise missile !!!!

  • @1jonnydangerous1 its not how the flying fuck do chefs, tradsman etc carry out they business?? they is thing in the act called resonable excause and lawfull authority ! and its not offence to have a blade under 3inches in public place ! go back and read the prevention of crimes act !

  • @1jonnydangerous1 With the message you sent me I take it you have no intelligent response. Do you really think harassing a college student will accomplish anything? Do you really think someone sick enough to kill another person is going to abide by a knife law? I will sat it again. It's a stupid law that does more harm than good & limiting a young mans future over a pointless law is the height of stupidity.

  • Can someone just shoot that copper in the head.

    Fucking idiot!

  • When he calmly asked what the stanley knife is for you should had calmly and casually said its for cutting and mutilating peoples faces and stabbing grannies.

  • I think the police way over reacted although they have a job to do.This could've been handled with a friendly chat on the street.Anyhow it is not illegal to carry a knife otherwise you would not be able to walk out of a shop after purchasing one.Imagine a chef buys a whole range of deadly looking knives and walks down the street with them to his reataurant.Anything can be considered a weapon even your car,it's how you use it that counts. If I wanted to kill with a knife I would pick a real knife!

  • can defiantly the two here are from Birmingham!!

  • @Retroblogs

Before you go shaking fingers as to where people are from, maybe you should take more of an immediate look into how to string along a sentence that actually makes sense.

Oh and btw, I am from the North West, not Birmingham.

  • @collegefreaks2000 I meant it in a sarcastic way by the way not shaking fingers I'm from Birmingham myself and talk the same aha so that's how I can tell XD plus i meant to say Can defiantly tell the two here are from Birmingham!!.

  • @Retroblogs plus the officer sounds exactly like my manager at work especially when he says "stanley Knife"

  • @collegefreaks2000 is your caution permanent?

  • @kayasulley

For the average job, No. Under The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 after a caution is 'spent' you no longer have to put it on an application form or declare it. Also as it is a caution and not a conviction it also helps.

    HOWEVER

    The following (there are more) are exempt from the The Rehabilitation Act;

Teachers and Social Workers, Solicitors, Police/Prison Officers, Court Clerks, Probation Officers, Doctors, Dentists, Chemists, Nurses or Paramedics, Accountants, Vets etc...

  • So obviously if you want a job from those on the list, or any other exempt from the Rehabilitation Act, don't get arrested or you will find it very hard (even with a caution) to get a job.

  • @collegefreaks2000 I think a great injustice has been done to you. I dont know if its too late to appeal this decision, unless you believe with reasonable certainty that you wont be in employement within a field of work that will require you to declare this (and thus decrease your chances of employement). I am a law student and i find this response from the police authorities to be disproportionate. I am sorry that you had to be on the recieving end of this abuse.

  • This is for real?

  • @sparx12457856 No I think it is fucked that you can carry a gun in you bag legally. Thats why America is so fucked up

  • crimial evidence act 1984 cannot be be stopped by police officer unless their is intentoin to arrest citizens have no duty to answer question cannot arrest for refusal to answer questions and no legal duty to accompany a police officers just them takeing the piss out of their powers not all are bad but lots are as there wot you to contract with them so no contract power to the common law freedom

  • I assume this chap wasn't charged with anything ?.....

  • @myepiphone

Not charged, but cautioned with carrying a sharp bladed article.

  • 10,000 Hits in just over a year! Also the first non-featured video you get in youtube search results when searching 'West Midlands Police'

    Thanks Everyone.

Obviously I appreciate all comments (from whatever side of the fence) but if anyone states police officers should be killed etc they will have their comments removed and their user ID's blocked from the video.

  • Thick fucken copper as usual wouldn't catch a cold wanker

  • Doesn't help you pronounce foam like you've just had a stroke.

  • lol is it on your back when you sit on the fucking bus? who sits on a bus with their fucking rucksack on?

  • police guy sounds mentally retarded ?

  • @bedfordcrusader Sounds retarded ? Its his accent. He is from Birmingham. Everyone from Burmingum is retarded.

  • Wow, can't carry a knife around with you? nuts.

  • Thick or what?

  • This cop is a fucking dumb truck

  • F#cking FOAM BOARD you ugly deaf c#nt... Lol

  • one law for one comes to mind, is that really the state of our police? jesus!!

  • roaringwaterbay: Youtube is NOT exactly known for being the barometer of rational public opinion ! The bulk of excellent Police work goes unreported across the UK as that is the norm. People don't seem to like to give public praise, just criticism when it suits their own needs. Not every Police officer in the UK is a perfect specimen but then they are just humans. Generally speaking we have a First Class Police service of which we should all be proud ... and not many countries can say that !

  • @KCAZYT As you so readly admit that not every police officer is perfect, so I can conclude if they cannot deal with their own bad apples how can they possibly deal with the publics bad apples.

I think praise is given when its due, the fact that a lot police good police work goes unreported is due to there being not a lot of it to report. There is far more bad police work than good.

    Peace.

  • do they have a lot of rocket scientists working there at the cop shop?

  • fragmat: I'm afraid that your knowledge of UK law on 'Offensive weapons' is a little weak. However, the point that I am trying to make is that prevention is most definitely better than someone ending up in hospital with stab or slash wounds. This sort of posting allows every anarchist, 'cop hater' and looney to air their perverted views about our excellent Police service. That is NOT directed at you but people such as: Deagnol, Justphil101, TheNOrdic, simpleearthling, etc. etc.

  • @KCAZYT i haven't seen many videos here on youboob that display the "excellence" of the police service. i have seen lots of videos to suggest that the police service really has a thing for hiring folks with fascist inclinations.

  • For those people in America we in England use knives for all kinds of things in every day life have done for hundreds of years. just that some one forgot to tell the police this and they may seem very stupid but that is because some of them are but why they have to prove it is beyond me. we use it for cutting string. cutting seat belts that get stuck in accidents we use them to open plastic packeging around products sold in shops butter knives for buttering bread. lol

  • it's not ilegal.....this is retarded. waste of tax dollars employing retards to enforce the law, it's notilegal to carry a blade... it's a stanley knife. used as a tool 99.9% of the time.

  • So, let's get this straight. You think it's O.K. NOT to be challenged for carrying a knife in the vicinity of a high security area ?

You were not even going to college that day which gives good grounds for asking you why you are walking round the streets with it in your rucksack.

It took me a while to understand what you were saying: Sounded like 'Phone bard'.

Just let the Police do they're incredibly difficult and thankless job without such stupid interference.... and DON'T CARRY A KNIFE.

  • @KCAZYT

Where in my description did I say it wasn't OK to be stopped by the police for carrying a knife? Please tell me as I can't put my finger on it.

Also I didn't know I had it on me, I didn't intentionally carry it to me to stab the prime minister lol, I simply forgot I had it from the day before.

I don't condone anyone carrying a knife for any other reason but for work or a course, why would I?

Before you jump at me, try reading the description.

  • @KCAZYT

Obviously you appear to be a dumb moronic police officer or "wannabe", the video poster is not questioning the nature or legitmacy of the stop. The aim of this film is just to show how idiotic this particular West Midlands Police Officer is.

I really hope you do not carry any sort of self conceived idea of authority.

    Peace

  • Comment removed

  • @KCAZYT exactly , maybe when and only when they or theyre sons or daughters are losing 7 pints of blood on the pavement will they get it ,seems theyre human rights are more important than theyre own lives ,kind of defeats the object . anyone carrying a knife for no apparent reason should be locked up.

  • Haha, great editing job on this. Very entertaining.

  • The grounds for arrest sound ok, however I would not have accepted a caution and would have let the courts decide. That caution is an admition of guilt and could harm your future career.

  • lol

  • This is daft, you had an excuse, its your blade, its under three inches, it was concealed safely and not on show, they had no right to drag it on like they did.

  • OMG is this cop dumb!! Charge him with wasting police time!

  • FUCK THE POLICE ALL DAY EVERYDAY. Uneducated scum shouldnt be allowed to have any power, just look at the british army, they recruit chavs from deprived areas who think their "fighting for their country", when infact they kill innocent children and women.

NO COMMENT TO THE POLICE, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

  • Those BALDIES were on a course on how to use the LEAST evidence to EXTRACT a CONFESSION. I HOPE that SENsE prevailed.

  • presentating! i love it! once when i was in trouble with the po-po, instead of saying 'disturbing the peace' i got all nervous and said 'distributing the police'! duh!

  • police... bunch of wanna be smart asses that were bullied and lack self esteem and self worth ,so they decided to bo some "noble" job and "protect" citizens. let me tell you something, i bet you cant find one person who would tell you that he/she wasnt treated baadly a law enforcement officer

  • I've just started my career in the police. Got a Law degree from UCL and a masters from Oxford...we're not all stupid!

Also 'presentating' thats not a word, you're obviously not einstein yourself!

  • @circesprophecy

Hence why I made it obvious in the video, but thanks for pointing out the bloody obvious Mr Educated.

  • @collegefreaks2000 did you? i must have missed that.

  • @circesprophecy but you are all cunts ,,oh well as long as you keep getting fine money out of normal people ,,how does it feel to be fucking detested by anyone with a brain ,,you horrible cunt

  • @simpleearthling Really does not bother me. On a day to day basis we meet so many people who say supportive things to us and help so many people out that the down side (arresting chavvy cunts like yourself no doubt) is really satisfying. There is nothing better than putting hand cuffs on a child molester, a rapist or a murderer and throwing him into a cell. You will never experience the thrill of driving through a city at 90mph with lights blaring - plus woman love a guy in uniform .

  • @circesprophecy thats exactly whats wrong about you all ,,you get a buzz out of certain situations and every time you become desensitised to these situations and need situations to become more and more intense so you learn how to inflame situations ,,like little boys with toys ,,my fast car with shiny lights ,,your all fucking thick working for shit money ,,but because you are an insecure twat it makes you feel like a tough guy pushing kids around ,,lets hope someone shoots you ,you fucking boy

  • @circesprophecy Not really at all mate - the worst case scenario is arresting someone because that means someone has done something wrong (usually, we do get it wrong).

I'm currently on £35k, which for a 25 year old is more than my brother who is a doctor at the age of 30. So not bad money at all, and I'm due for promotion in the next year which could potentially get me £40k+.

As I said I graduated from UCL and got a masters from Oxford. So I'm not exactly stupid either :)

    What do you do m8?

  • @circesprophecy Why do certain types of people who are educated or earn a decent salary feel the need to go on and on about it? I'm sure the difference between you and your 30 year old brother is that at his age he doesn't feel the need to define himself by where he went to school or his bank account. There are other ways we can define ourselves, speak of principles and experience...they're much less superficial.

  • @circesprophecy 'Einstein' is a name and should be capitalised..you're no Einstein either are you?

  • @circesprophecy bullshit your a cunt

  • real fucking crime busters ,,this is just one of the reasons most people think the police are total cunts.

  • I've just started my career in the police. Got a Law degree from UCL and a masters from Oxford...we're not all stupid!

  • dumbass pig.

  • Clueless officer trying to "compose" a reason why he stopped and searched.

The blade needs to be a certain size in any case. And it's retracting.

Next time I purchase a stanley blade I will pop into the Police for a convoy there and back.

    This is ridiculas Policing lol

  • @wobbers99 what size does the blade need to be to cut through one of your arterys ?

    ,ignorant twats .

  • fuck me, that was a long winded interview for carrying a stanley knife

  • Sargent Anthony Parker from Wolverhampon Police? Sp PC Abbot Bilston Street Police?

  • How much did it cost,,,, LMAO

  • @joewallace2

    a pound

  • @collegefreaks2000 Never ever talk the police without a legal advice. Please Google: A survival Guide for decent folk nightjack.

Nightjack is a police officer, he was later disciplined (sp?) because of his blog.

  • @Finnbar01

an excellent blog that, thanks for sharing!

  • @collegefreaks2000 no problems. After watching the video again, I've come to the conclusion that the police officer was acting a bit dumb to gain your confidence and get you to speak more. Remember, the more you speak the more likely you will entrap yourself. cheers.

  • Typical of west mids police, make a mountain out of a mole hill and sound like a complete twat at the same time. (If its genuine)

  • anti police you know what i meant!!!!!!

  • What a dumb cop!!! Still, I wouldn't expect anything less!

  • Should have locked you up and thrown away the key you do- gooder fuck witt, that video has been edited by you who is ani-police, for the ani-police scum bags out on the streets of great briton.

  • @sarahanddan65

    ani-police?

  • @sarahanddan65

You can't spell for shit, you are a clueless retard.

  • @sarahanddan65 You are slightly deluded.

  • @sarahanddan65 But who would pay for him to be locked up?

It costs £800/week to keep someone in jail. I think you would be laughed at for suggesting this to any right-minded taxpayer.

  • never speak to the police without leagle advice.........

  • @MrPoliticaltoons *Legal

  • @MrPoliticaltoons Or legal advice

  • that policeman is seriously dense

  • As an art student, this guy is an idiot

  • copper is a genuine timmy

  • Should be off your record after 10 years, but Yeah that's Dark !
