  • Go through the decades of prince videos and concerts. he knows about and incorporates "current popular dance moves" along with the JB and his own original moves. especialy in the 90's.

  • I'm not gonna even mention that killer spin MJ has in his arsenal, lol. James B even said that the gloved ones strong & not a sucker, lol. Whats up is from frames 1:40 (watch J.B's feet real closely as the God father cuts up (damn I love it, lol), & from there MJ decimates) through Overall I love them all, especially Fred Astaire & the indominable Cab Calloway bringing up the rear like the final BOSS he his in his own right, lol. Verdict: GIGA TITAN's James B, MJ, Fred Astaire, & Cab C all day.

  • Frames 3:20 through 3:22 is all have to say about the rediculous P is better than MJ jive. From there take it to the bridge, lol.

  • my favourite part was when mj circle glide 3:05

  • Funky, Awesome, they b doin' it , Love that dancing, they are All Great !!!

  • the artist formerly known as prince lol

  • These 3 Kings!!!!! Amazing!!!

  • It`s hard to choose they all amazing dancers in the world!!!!!

  • People may be saying MJ ruled them all but Prince was in high heels ;)

  • @shanedawsonrocksalot No one forced him to wear high heels, it just shows that MJ is a smarter , more professional dancer lol

  • @eritreangurrl He is just a few inches over 5 feet tall. so he wears heals + some women like it and we know he likes women...sexually that is.

  • actually he didnt combine them he perfected them and made them better and made some of his old dances i know every thing about him and even in his interviews he said he would perfect them and make his own to @bashbro1able dauuuhhhh!!!

  • Prince actaully has more moves than all of them. He can do every step that James Brown ever did.

  • @npgfunk -. What you dont see I saw them all live - In the Savoy Apollo you name I was there being over half a century and traveling all over the US at there concerts has been a treat. Incomparable. Dancers from that are twenty-years different in age. Each an excellent excellent performer. We have been so blessed to have enjoyed them all in this lifetime.

  • @npgfunk Not true I have watched them all James in his twenties and thirties did more moves than Prince has done- hands done. Just like the multi-talented Prince is a master musician like Stevie playing several instruments perfectly-what you don’t know you obviously have not lived long enough to view them all

  • @tefnutbellsouthnet I have lived long enough to see them all live several times so you played yourself right there. I am talking what I know. You dont know me so you are not doing the same.

  • Ok, put the same Video with the music the "everyday I'm shuffling...."

  • Why y'all have to choose sides? Just enjoy and be inspired. :D

  • i wish the nest generation will have those talent ! well anyway may be the moonwalk is not yet the greatest dance, may be there is another greatest dance move but we not yet know it !

before MICHAEL JACKSON James brown and presley is the best and people think there dnace move is GREATEST ! But then MJ show up , we got another greatest move ! SO i hope there will be another greatest dance moves !!!!

  • This was just amazing to watch. I wonder who the next star will be who moves as smoothly as these three? I can't wait as the dance moves are unique and amazing. I have to say that it's a three way tie...they all moved and grooved BIG TIME!

  • James Brown, Prince and Michael Jackson are simply 3 gifts from God above. Tjam*

  • They are all great of course, but Prince is great in every aspect from dancing, actually playing instruments, song writing and longevity and he does things his way so he's more badass

  • kookoo78 James Brown did the same, MJ too It has to do with musical preference, more than anything. MJ wins over James Brown & Prince hands down when it comes to dancing, he's probably the most revolutionary mainstream dancer the past 30 + yrs or so. He and his brothers popularized "the robot dance" while Prince was still in school, I mean Prince was probably inspired when MJ had his first nr1 hit with motown. MJ is an incredible song writer and composer too, so like I said,it's preference.

  • @Fashion4life Well Prince daddy was a musician so I really don't think he was watching Mike on tv trying to emulate him. James Brown perhaps, but not Mike. Plus Prince was doing music in school as well. Only reason Mike made it big was because his father was backing him and Prince pretty much had to do it on his own

  • @kookoo78 I'm very much aware that Prince' dad was a musician I believe his mother was a singer too. So was MJ's dad, he was also a musician. However, like everybody else who grew up in the 60-70's they watched The Jackson 5and MJ being the lead singer of that group and influenced million of black kids (all kids) in the USA.So obviously Prince was inspired by watching young MJ on TV. Mike impressed all the legends as a kid, so no it doesnt have to do with his dad. Yet again, it's bout preference

  • @Fashion4life Just because Mike was on tv doesn't mean he influenced everyone. That's like saying that just because Justin Beiber is a huge success than any child star after him was influenced by him. I've been listening to Prince since I was six and none of his earlier music resembled Motown's or Mike Jackson hence the reason the term "The Minneapolis Sound"

  • what about James Brown, Prince, Michael Jackson, Chubby Checker, Ray Charles, Sammy Davis Jr.,Little Richie Lionel Richie, BB King, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, ...

same time, same song, same earth ! Oh My God Yes !

  • @GoldenN0000011

Don't forget about Jackie Wilson, who was also inspirational to many artists including Michael Jackson and to some degree James Brown.

  • BEAUTIFUL/AWASOME

  • had to show my daughter where michael jackson's moves came from.....JAMES BROWN BABY!!!

  • MJ's spins were unparalleled.

  • MJ the best but without James Brown, there is no prince or mj :)

  • @Visaliny Totally agree!!

  • you should add Janelle Monae to this compilation.

  • games brown wins at singing, Mj at dancing prince at idk :o

  • 2 fags vs a pimp. James Brown wins.

  • Yea MJ is great, but hes even better when he's dancing to James Brown's Sex Machine.

  • who's the random dude in the the top hat and coat?

  • james brown is micheal jacksons inspiration

  • MICHAEL DANCES BETTER THAN ALL OF THEM SORRY ITS TRUE, EVERYBODY KNOWS ITS TRUE SO JUST FACE THE FACT

  • @crazy4corbinbleux Michael was bad, no doubt. Prince was gett'n down though.

  • Prince has some serious moves......damn!

  • JB the Godfather

    MJ the entertainer

    Prince the musician

  • Hi, are you a Prince's fan ?

  • lets put mc hammer 4th place

  • Prince is by far the most talented and knowing musician this world has ever had.

  • @Chillzuminati lol no

  • @ The BET Awards, MJ told James that he was his biggest inspiration...and James said..."you started out doing little James Brown moves, but later on you got your own moves and that's what it's about"......MJ took James to a whole different level meanwhile Prince was literally jacking EVERYTHING...even down to the split....FAIL

  • @GUURL101 Prince Fail? OMG!

  • @symbol4us

    ...YES! You read right...

  • @GUURL101 all I read is someone called guurl101 comic strip

  • @symbol4us

    ...re-read

  • @GUURL101 you should right for Saturday Night Live. Your really funny

  • @symbol4us

    R U serious? No-one's ever told me that I was funny...thnx =D

  • @GUURL101 I guess it doesn't matter huh? Since mike and james are dead. There's still prince though

  • @symbol4us

You're right. Music isn't really what it used to be =(

  • @GUURL101 it's not. And it all sounds the same now.

  • @symbol4us

Did you know that the SAME beat for Tik-Tok was used for California Gurls by Katy Perry...EVERYONE's trying to be the same thing and I don't really even know WHAT they are trying to be LOL

  • @GUURL101 I hear ya. It's like todays music has no identity

  • Yall left out Mr. Bongangles?

  • Love this Video!!!

  • MJ owned them lmao!

  • MJ is the King. Above all, even his idols.

  • OMG!!!!! This was GRRRRRREAT, the editing was FANTASTIC and I watched two times AND I'm running late for work!!!! Oh yeah, I fav'd the HELL OUTTA THIS!!!!!! LOL!!!

  • This is like my favorite youtube video right now

  • Michael's dancing takes me to a whole 'nother world. I've seriously never seen anything like it, and I don't think we ever will.

  • pause at 3:40 who's that splittin' prince or james brown

  • @jkadvices Prince baby!

  • JB the only true soul music

  • Fantastic compilation - wanna dance right now!!!

  • I always liked prince and James Brown dancing more.

  • the holy trinity

  • Very well done! I love it!! Thanks for posting!

  • JAMES BROWN RULES!... Yeah, Michael is the king of pop, but the God James served as inspiration for Michael and Prince

  • Difference between their dancing i think is that Jackson's work is more cerebral, more choreographed and controlled and technically better than Brown's.

Brown's dancing is his soul, it's his emotions, it is raw and human and not artificed.

  • Just wonderful. MJ touched by an angel. So beautiful.

  • mj is the bestz dancer

  • Why don't you show any footage of James Brown when he was in his prime? It's only fair. After all, the other two are shown when they were young.

  • @MsAppassionata It's not a competition, dude. People are just turning it into one.

  • Prince Kinda Breakdanced, Just a little

  • alo galera peço que mi ajudem ha divulgal meu video SO APENAS CLIKAR NA FOTO AI ..sou cover do michael jackson de uberlandia mg agradeço desde ja abraços DEUS ABENÇOE TONÓS.DOS

  • They are all awesome. As far as who is better, it's clear that the younger two (Michael and Prince) have taken a big part of their style from JB. So I have to give it to the James. In addition, let's remember that he was dancing like that during performances into his 70s. Respect.

  • @scojaro Well I'm flattered :) Just Kiddin'

  • My brain can not compute! Too much funk at one damn time!!! lololololol

  • Michael is just so crisp with every move

  • No one, and I mean NO ONE danced like Michael Jackson. Michael often gave credit to James Brown as his major inspiration but even Brown couldn't dance like Jackson.

  • Comment removed

  • GREAT-JOB CultMaster...I Really Enjoyed your work...Your Stuff was split-second "ON'..Just where it had to be(to make-it) What it is "AWESOME-JOB"....Keep-Up the Good-Works Brother ...!!!!

  • Michael took something from James Brown, improved on it and made it better. MJ's was more choreographed, clean and fine-tuned.

JB's was plain raw energy and improvisation, its his feet! MJ studied those feet.

But overall I think MJ as an overall dancer was the best of all times, he was the beat.

  • @omario8816 I agree with you 100% , James is the man... but i think Mike Beat him by a Long shot.

MJ was the Greatest dancer.. ever

  • Prince FTW

  • James Brown was gas. Minute 3.15 and 3.25 seems the man had the souls oiled. No contest. Big respect to the rest, but James Brown IS THE MAN FOR THE JOB.

  • @soyMigs Ya, I'm with you Soy....You gotta always Tip your Hat to "the ORIGINAL"...Without James Brown, there would-be No Prince or M.J. ....!!!!

  • @GOLDEN0000011 So? Just because he influenced Prince and MJ doesn't mean he's automatically the best. In my opinion, MJ is the best. His dancing his so creative and 95% original. Prince isn't original enough. He dances way too much like James. And in no disrespect to James, but I kind of think Prince and MJ can do HIS moves better than HIM at times.

  • This person is missing the point. Cab Calloway and Fred Astair influenced James Brown and Mr. Brown influenced MJ and Prince. However, this is not to say that Fred Astaire or Cab Calloway is better than JB.

  • @bashbro1able Actually, Michael, with all do respect, hasn't created really that much of his signature moves. He took from many people from different eras and combined them.

  • @MrAwesome8617 Ain't nothing wrong with being inspired. And he did have some completely original stuff, and if he didn't, he totally improved it on so many levels. Like the spin and robot.

  • well done. all my favorite artist and entertainers :)

  • Beautiful compilation ! Thanks for this

  • how dare they fucking compare Michael Jackson and Prince. They are those fucking fantastic. Lets leave it at that.

  • Prince RULES!

  • I never understood why prince would be compared to not only the best dancing musicians but the two of the best dancers in the world, anybody who was as skinny and as young as him could do gymnastics on the stage, it takes real talent to move like Michael, and I don't even think in a million years will anyone even get close to the hardest working man in show business(James Brown!)

  • mj did not invent the moon walk go back and look at some of the old hoofers from the 20-50's. mj just refinded it. Either way it's all good. Each paved the way for the other.

  • micheal, prince, and james brown invented skinny jeans l[ol

  • James Brown opened the door for MJ and Prince!

  • MY opinion:

    1.MJ

    2.JB

    3. Prince

  • @SiisiiLovESMJ What about the old timer at the end looks like 20 years before James.

  • @SiisiiLovESMJ Correct!

  • @SiisiiLovESMJ If it wasn't for James Brown Then MJ wouldn't even be a dancer, He'd just be an incredible music artist. What inspired MJ to Dance was James Brown! The only way you can take dancing to another level is if you see someone else doing it! and that's what Michael Jackson did!

James Brown actually had better footwork than Michael Jackson!

  • @SiisiiLovESMJ

    MY opinion

    1 prince

    2 prince

    3 prince

  • Prince is not as good as James brown leave alone MJ

  • It seems to me like the JB generation had more fun dancing; while the MJ and prince seem to be so serious.....?? Just an observation, (not a negative critique) how things just change!! They're ALL great artists!!

  • que buenooo...

  • micheal jackson and prince are imitations of james brown but micheal just brought the moonwalk into it he himslf said he learnt everytin frm watchin

james infront of the tv practiseing.

  • LUV ALL U GUYZ 187 MAMA PIMP MAFIA

  • JAMES INSPIRED ALL OF EM,,,,,,,AND ME TOO..LOL

  • james and mj they are the best

  • Didn't james brown inspire them BOTH???

  • Out of the Compilation, James & Prince were the DANCERS

  • Prince dances just like James Brown, but Michael's dancing is on a different level....

  • 1.52-1.58 is Fred Astaire. One of MJ's Favs

  • @TheLinsiminaus07 Bow to the Masters!, well said...

  • los dos bailan chido

  • hottt happy feet

  • missed gregory hines

  • ...there should be no dislikes...only respect to the WORLDS best...Thumbs up people.

  • Does anyone know any info on the Prince performances cut from 4:00 - 4:30???? The Kid has some awesome footwork.

  • @abrahamcabrera That's Prince dancing to his songs "Housequake", "It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night" and "Hot Thing" on the Sign O' the Times film from 1987. It's available on DVD.

  • I am sorry but Prince is not up to MJ or JB. Prince sure moves right but he has none of JB's raw improvisation and innovation skills, nor does he play the game on a perfect scale like Mike.

  • @TodHeartsound Fanatical Michael Jackson fans love to ridiculously diss Prince to try to make Michael Jackson seem better. Micheal Jackson obviously couldn't effortlessly do the splits over and over again like Prince and James Brown could. Prince is a powerhouse of raw talent, not only as a dancer but also as a vocalist with a wide vocal range, guitarist, bassist, pianist, drummer, writer, producer. Amazingly talented.

  • amazing Prince MJ and he Godfather what more could you ask for xx

  • LONG LIVE KING MJ! :-)

  • LONG LIVE THE KING MJ!!

  • funkiest bass line of all time!!!!!!

  • I absolutely LOVE this video! It's incredible to see all three talents thrown in together, with a little Fred Astaire and Cab Calloway for good measure. Nicely done. (I won't vote, because I loved Michael, I'm a Prince fanatic, and appreciate James Brown's talent too.)

  • I don't think its so much as a compition as much as its 3 talents we were lucky to see because they had the look and the fact that we got to witness great talent was an accident. They all had somewhat similar moves from time to time but all 3 had their own unique style that made them who they where.

  • o melhor do mundo é o michael jackson

  • Great video. Well edited, you made it look like they were all actually dancing to the song. thumbs up from me.

  • and cab calloway was the smoothest of them all!

  • All three of these guys were totally messed up people, but hey i guess if you can prance around on a stage entertaining people your worthy of worship.

Its a testament of our times, we are living in a time of cultural and social decay.

  • @Roguefox2006 Or that true greatness comes at a great price. And that goes for the whole world not just the music industry.

  • pleace see my mj ivica 2011 and mj ivica und mj gurmee video =)

  • HOT DAMN!!! Thanks for this really great compilation here, I didn't know Prince danced so well, so cool.

  • Godfather, king of pop, and a prince Legendary

  • 3 of the greatest performers, only 1 is still living. RIP James Brown & Michael Jackson and dance on Prince!

  • @4:38 and up...wow >__> the people there act like nothings happening

  • James..may be imitated..never duplicated:)

  • Prince automatically wins, due to him being able to play every instrument on his songs, and being still alive. 3:-D

  • Prince the only man I would ever consider sexy in heels and make-up....lol

  • this is a great video....... awesome job

  • LOOK MY VIDEO - regenerado - GILIARD E TAMIRES

  • luv this /bless james brown/end silly fued prince/u both the best/and u still here/live on /all his charities/ peace/

  • Baddest Dancers of all Times. All the Way Back to Cab Calloway. Awesome Video. Kudos to the Creator of this Vid.

  • it comes from james

  • Holololo James is rocking the place!!!!

  • omg, we black people are some dancing motherfuckers. I LOVE IT.

  • That was HOT THANX for uploading.

  • THE BEST MICHAEL JACKSON......I LOVE YOU.

  • That is a truly wonderful piece of editing! It looks like they are all dancing in synch with the songl. Keep up the great work Human! :-)

  • "James Brown, Bob Fosse, James Brown Dance Competition"

  • James Brown is AMAZING.

  • prince + James Brown = Michael Jackson

  • @gabrielmm1304 haha exactly!

  • Regarding your comment of why random clips of Fred Astaire & Cab C. were'nt mentioned...Because they're that bada** thats why, & they represent the quentisential essence of dance, & what it means to take it to the bridge, lol. Also, to any Prince fans out there thats confused about the pecking order under the Cherry Moon...P is alright until he meets up with the BOSS, & thats MJ all day. MJ vs Prince, hell P can't even get over or begin to touch Jimi H. aka the immortal Voodoo Child of guitar.

  • @Predaking101 Hey bud you do realise this video is comparing 3 great dancers , and not only that prince is the most well rounded artist of our or any generation so . He is true talent , he is music. HE IS THE BOSS, HE IS THE KING , HE IS THE GOD.

  • James Brown was the bridge between Michael and Prince clearly.

  • I like this video but I think it should've shown more of Michael using James Brown's moves like how it showed Prince using them. And what was with the random clips of Fred Astaire and Cab Calloway. They weren't mentioned in the title.

  • Comment removed

  • James was the baddest of all. Mike was second for sure. Prince is okay.

  • LIVE LONG KING PRINC

  • Classic is as classic does!!! We know it when we see it - we know how it makes us feel..

  • Michael Jackson and Prince are the greatest American artists of the 80's. No doubt about it. They piss over all this inferior shit we have today (lady gaga, kate perry. ke$ha and all this shit). I think Beyonce is a good performer though.

  • One more time....one more time.....and one more time James.....you are the one...you are the legend for ever, also Michael and Prince. Nobody can compare with you jet....thank you again for everything that you give to us and we never forget you

  • This is the magic....genious ...what can I say ....just look listen and play with them

  • MJ kills prince with no doubt

  • " nobody" surpasses the originator!!!!...James Brown!

  • Yes - Prince the King.
