@MajorOPayne No he uses a regular 'disc' mount binding but grinds out all the teeth on the baseplate and the binding and mounts it to his EST board with the M6 transition baseplate with the usual 2 screws. Having only one screw mounted would not let the board spin evenly underneath him, and would not provide strength for these amazing tricks.

Part of "extreme sports" (bmx,snowboarding, rally car, skating, moto x etc.) is innovation. The tricks that are done on your skateboard were brought from people being creative. Rodney Mullen for example set the standard and basics for A LOT of the tricks done today, tricks that have survived since the 80's.

@benheinlein ill try that out. I have a board already with stomp pads and snowskate grip tape.  So now Ill just go buy a boat seat swivel and maybe ill have better luck and wont strip screws and break bindings.

He definitely doesnt just use the one screw with a standard EST binding. I have been trying out different ways to do the trick and the one bolt thing doesnt work. Ive stripped boards, used special screws, broke screws, the only time I got the trick good was with making my own bindings with a baseplate with no teeth to set angles. Also, when riding with just the screw, while your riding you foot swivels around and it is very difficult. So there is definitely another way he does it.
