Well it is not that you are abducted when you are asleep... I can tell you that you can be very much awake, then blackout and the next morning wake-up very refreshed and being certain that something happened but you are not sure about what and that frightens you severely. Then you wander in life with a certainty that you can not tell or prove or proof out of fear of being stared at as a mad man with a very vivid imagination... Do not expect to be understood.

Having a close mind stops you from evolving and for that matter stops the human race from evolving peacefully. Mary seems to have a fairly open mind and is scientific in her approach. It's always easy to say we humans are stuck in 3rd dimension thinking and cannot understand these "aliens" purpose, so they hold out on us.
And NO! If they landed at the White House, the nukes would not come out.
If they are beyond 3D thinking, then these aliens shouldn't fear for their lives.
