Nanikealani isn't common at all. Kealani yes. Nani, definitely. But combined, nope. To me, although a name (unless an inoa kupuna), it seems that 2 well liked names were combined, but of course as a Hawaiian language speaker, it isn't translatable...grammatically at least.

i absolutely love this film sequence. it's incredibly tranquil and peaceful. It achieves it's purpose in highlighting both the surfboard and it's maker's spirit as something more than riding the wave, and that's very admirable.
