Family Guy is bullshit, they can't keep a steady plotline for longer then 2 minutes and every 30 seconds their is some pop culture reference to some movie or a celebrity. Not funny, and plus everyone looks really ugly and every character is a fucking jackass, not one likable person on the whole fucking show. Family Guy is a terrible show!

it doesn't insult them. It makes them look so much classier. The rule of thumb for Family Guy is to incessantly study the Simpsons jokes and after five years steal their material. They've stolen so many Simpsons jokes only made them lame.

I blame that one on the new simpson writers that kinda took the simpsons in the wrong direction.

Now that its in HD though, the episodes have actually gotten more clever and they'll make their ranks once again to have family guy cancel another season haha.

@brianpadraic Granted, I haven't seen the past couple seasons, but I would say it's typically the other way around. The Simpsons is better at telling stories and incorporating more traditional sitcom-style humor with social commentary, while Family Guy relies more heavily on nostalgia and absurdist comedy. From what I've seen, too, the older crowd usually prefers the Simpsons, while FG is more the college-age to early 30s viewers. I love both shows, though.
