I dont know what terrible kids you played in Halo 2, but usually if you were playing a GOOD player, you could not fight your way out of a BR fight...in H1, a skilled player could outshoot 2-3 players at a time...try that in h2.

i mean yea you can double shoot with the br but the person with the halo ce pistol will already be firing his third shot by the time you do the double shot combo and all 12 shots have to hit the target. the br also has a bullet spread so if you are having to lead your shots 1 or 2 bullets out of each burst might not hit your target. so maybe if the guy was running straight at you with then yea the double shot would rape the halo ce pistol but any 1 whos good isnt just going to run straight at u.
Halo CE pistol was hard to 3 shot with though, because as you said, someone good isn't gonna be walking a straight line, and the CE pistol you had to lead your shots with alot. And the pistol has a grouping.. Although at close range to mi range it won't make much of a difference, long range you will have about a man sized grouping so both guns have their advantages and disadvantages.
You, AzBomz, are the moron. Halo CE pistol killed in about 1 second with 3 single bullets. The battle rifle kills with 4 burst shots which don't always hit perfectly (no matter how good your aim is). In both games you had to lead shots.

No, it's slower than ODST and doesn't have near the power of the Halo CE pistol. It takes an average of 6-7 shots instead of 3-4, and it's horribly inaccurate.
I Love Halo Ce compared to second and third one but I have to admit I don't see why the multiplayer is so great. It's very standard and the pistol is ridiculously imbalanced. I mean I would choose the pistol more than the rocket launcher due to the versatility. Maybe that's why I enjoy the Campaign more since it's all based on your situation and that's where the pistol doesn't play the role of being your best friend. Most of the weapons are very useless in MP. Unlike SR, the weapons r versatile.
probs cos at the time it was something really new for a console. Put yourself back in 2001, multiplayer on consoles was a bit of a joke except perhaps goldeneye before then but then comes along halo. It supports up to 16 players and was a simple pick up and play game with easy to navigate enviorments. of course it looks pretty shoddy now by 2009 standards but then again space invaders looks shoddy now but back in its day it was seen as amazing
You know what you're right. Back in the early days for FPS consoles, it was all about Goldeneye or Perfect Dark when it comes to the MP section, and the PC had many which includes Counter-Strike and many more. Even though when I first picked up Halo: Combat Evolved, I could tell it was a lot more concentrated on the campaign than the MP, but the MP was fun at times and I'm not much of a hardcore MP player. Yeah, graphics don't really mean anything to me. H:Ce> H2/3 combined.
halo 1 has hardly any auto aim, so it takes so much more skill to play. halo 1 doesnt have dual wielding and there for less nubiness. halo 1 the shots register alot more than in h2 and h3, and h1 has the best maps.

First of all you have no damn idea what you are talking about, in Halo: Combat Evolved you had to lead your shots with the pistol, they brought that back in H3 because the BR in H2 was fucking terrible, add in the terrible Auto Aim and the weapon required little skill. Halo is not meant to be realistic it never was, and you know why? THEY ARE SCI-FI GAMES. Halo: Combat Evolved will always be the best, but Halo 3 was a fantastic game and a proper conclusion to the trilogy. Much better then H2
h2 the best? You must be joking, the skill gap in Halo 1 was huge, you could single handedly win a game if you were great, Halo 2 had crapload of auto aim, Halo 3 has slightly less auto aim than Halo 1.
If it's AR starts in Halo 3, it is basically anyone's game. BR starts allow the better player to shine, most of the time, but the spread is so ridiculous that headshots go unrewarded all too often.
The only weapon in H3 that rewards perfect accuracy is the sniper, the rest are huge-spread spray weapons. Even the BR.
They had a perfect record for more then a year when paired together for tournaments and then once they had a 4 vs 4. They NEVER lost a single Halo: CE tournament.
Simply amazing to watch them play and it's even better in person.

I would have to agree, but that's only because Halo 3 is based upon a single players talent. Having so many balancing instances, the top teams are the ones that play th best together.
I am not saying that's good or bad, but they proved they have just amazing abilities in CE and even H2.
Actually, H3 is based on teamwork. In both Halo:CE and Halo 2, a player could run around and destroy the other team using button glitches or the 3Sk. The Ogre's aren't as great at H3 for a couple of reasons, the most prominent being dedication, and the second that they aren't as used to having to rely so heavily on their team mates.
Its more about teamwork than the other 2 in my opinion. Well maybe not teamwork but having a successful team shot its extremely important especially online.

Even though when I first picked up Halo: Combat Evolved, I could tell it was a lot more concentrated on the campaign than the MP, but the MP was fun at times and I'm not much of a hardcore MP player. Yeah, graphics don't really mean anything to me. H:Ce> H2/3 combined.

halo 1 has hardly any auto aim, so it takes so much more skill to play. halo 1 doesnt have dual wielding and there for less nubiness. halo 1 the shots register alot more than in h2 and h3, and h1 has the best maps.

if only i would have competed in halo ce tourneys , my friends who are decent at halo 3 would not even get to 10 kills on hang em high , next to my 25 kills and 3 deaths. Now i just get fucking raped on halo 3 man its bullshit , i need a good dedicated team of accurate shooters and i already have given alot of thought to team strategy lol ALOT. anyone who feels the same way , hit me up.

I hate the BR for halo 3. it's so unrealistic. why do I have to lead my shots with the BR. if I were to stand 50 feet away from you with a M16 or AK47 and your running to the left or right I wont have to shoot in front of you to hit you. I've never heard of a person "dodging" a bullet thats traveling 900+ MPH. Halo 2 BR was the best. Halo 3 is the worst of all in the Series

First of all you have no damn idea what you are talking about, in Halo: Combat Evolved you had to lead your shots with the pistol, they brought that back in H3 because the BR in H2 was fucking terrible, add in the terrible Auto Aim and the weapon required little skill. Halo is not meant to be realistic it never was, and you know why? THEY ARE SCI-FI GAMES. Halo: Combat Evolved will always be the best, but Halo 3 was a fantastic game and a proper conclusion to the trilogy. Much better then H2

h2 the best? You must be joking, the skill gap in Halo 1 was huge, you could single handedly win a game if you were great, Halo 2 had crapload of auto aim, Halo 3 has slightly less auto aim than Halo 1.

Halo 2 had a large skill gap compared to Halo 3.
If it's AR starts in Halo 3, it is basically anyone's game. BR starts allow the better player to shine, most of the time, but the spread is so ridiculous that headshots go unrewarded all too often.
The only weapon in H3 that rewards perfect accuracy is the sniper, the rest are huge-spread spray weapons. Even the BR.

He still has nothing on the Orges.
They had a perfect record for more then a year when paired together for tournaments and then once they had a 4 vs 4. They NEVER lost a single Halo: CE tournament.
Simply amazing to watch them play and it's even better in person.

I would have to agree, but that's only because Halo 3 is based upon a single players talent. Having so many balancing instances, the top teams are the ones that play th best together.
I am not saying that's good or bad, but they proved they have just amazing abilities in CE and even H2.

Actually, H3 is based on teamwork. In both Halo:CE and Halo 2, a player could run around and destroy the other team using button glitches or the 3Sk. The Ogre's aren't as great at H3 for a couple of reasons, the most prominent being dedication, and the second that they aren't as used to having to rely so heavily on their team mates.
