Just curious, from 1:58 to 2:23 Riku got hit multiple times while he was at 1HP. How come he didn't die? Is there an ability i'm missing. Something i'm overlooking here? Also i don't have FM so i'm not privy to some of its information

@behindthemyth I think the main reason why he never dies is because he is needed to be alive during Xemnas' "Can you spare a heart?" attack. Without Riku, the attack would more or less be an instant kill.

@pocketshiba, the story is set up so he is required to be alive by the end of the fight, so the developers rigged him with an Auto-Life feature, so he uses a potion whenever he is supposed to get KO'd.

@SaintSantiXIV Xemnas automatically does it at a certain percentage of health, so you cant... well I gusse theoretically you can use Riku's limit break to force him to citical health, forcing him to use his final attakc before he captures Sora, but that seems like a bit of a stretch.

both sora and riku can reflect the lazers, look at where the attack option is, itl say 'reflect' just like the reaction command, youl need to press triangle for riku and X for sora

@roxasora888 That would be 2 cheap( think of 2 Rikus, 1 that fights awesomely{ & has more equipable weaps ^_^}, & another with MP hasteaga & full healing U with cure potion every time UR health is low 4 & U get them the sec U 1st control Sora), but I think Riku's like Mickey, with sum more combos & weaps( not 2 mention Finishers atleast & Mickey would need a healing ability, & mabye them both having a Limit), they'd make a good playable character! First off I really don't know how riku's health matters at all, the problem is whatever sora's health is at, riku you just spam the command. And in the data you don't really need to control riku at any point.

I do know what you are talking about, but that move is easily avoided by reflect, and even when it does happen unless you're quite bad at pressing 1 button when xemnas gets close it's not too bad.

The real issue in level 1 CM is sora's HP, which is why in the data version of xemnas you should never let the spare a heart move be done.

Dodging it is almost useless in the normal fight, because he will go to spamming lasers and keep using it. If you're dodging it in the data it's actually helpful as he goes back to normal moves

Surprisingly, I didn't find this battle as hard as some of the others. Isn't the last battle supposed to be like, the biggest, hardest one? I died more times trying to defeat Xaldin and Demyx than I did on Xemnas.

This is not the final battle of the game, this is data xemnas which is much much harder.

Most people have their own preference on org, I use to find xigbar to be the hardest but after data and terra your opinions can drastically change.

This isn't normal end game xemnas, he still does that in the end game fight. This is the data version where all his fight tactics are changed. Notice the tons of HP bars.

how do you dodge roll in FM+ if Guard and Quick Run are on the same button? I know for Guard you just stand still and press square and quick run you move and press square, so where does that leave dodge roll? do you double tap the analog in one direction or something?

No, you hold down on Quick Run to use it, and just slightly tap [ ] for Dodge Roll. Oh and if it gets confusing, or annoying for Quick Run to be in a battle or it's not even needed, just unequip it. Dodge Roll is usually more useful, except in this fight, where both are highly recommended.

It's only for the data match, and he really doesn't have "different attacks" he just does his old attacks in diffferent ways or different orders.

When I do this fight, on some occasions after the first throw (I also use Session to wait out the throw), Xemnas glitches and is invisible. It only lasts until he teleports via nobody thorns, but if he decides to use the blue spheres for a time, you're stuck dodging him without being able to lock on.

Does anyone else get this?

like it reads in the description, this is one of the most time-consuming battles in the whole game. and its true that you dont have to button mash during his final attack. you really can just do it slow and it works just fine. also if you get hit while trying to block them, you wont die instantly(if youre on standard or proud mode,that is) it just takes a small chunk of health away.

I did this battle again, and Xemnas proved that for a Nobody, he can be quite the asshole.

He did really cheap combos, like :

Throw in the air + normal attack JUST after the air dodging + Throw in the air (and since I Dodge Rolled at the wrong moment, he skipped the grabbing part) + Can You Spare A Heart.

If he captures you, game over unless you have AT LEAST 45 HP. If you're in the air without MP, your only chance is to Drive just in time.

And then he did his DM while Riku had ONE LITTLE HP.
