Phrygia was the Dungeon I hated the most except Tartarus itself. Those Gargoyles are damn annoying. The Giant Snakes also were kinda brutal - they could drain your Health in a few Hits.
Damn, you're an awesome player at this game. The best place hands down to grind for money is the first couple of screens in Athena's temple area. Not only are the enemies easy to kill with one hit and respawn constantly, but they are always dropping olives. Best weapon for the area is the staff, because you can speed up the process by throwing the flames across the screen to kill while short range attacking the other guys.
I played this game a long time ago, and yea it was one of the best of it's time!
I discovered that, you dont need the 2nd heart fragment at all to get to the minotaur. All you have to do is stand near the barrier, have an enemy knock you backwards into it, and you will pass right through it! You can finish the game with only 2 hearts. You were probably wanting to do a legit walkthrough, so I totally understand. :)
A magic *hat*? I always thought that was a little weak... magic Helmet would have been better.. But i nitpick, and its awesome to see this game replayed!
you should probably brush your teeth b4 you go to tartarus

Why didn't you get the Sword of Argus?
That's the best weapon in the game.

Nah, the Greek gods are very ecology-conscious and they make biodegradable plastic from olive oil.

I didn't know Ancient Greece's economy was based on the olive.
Or is that just the economy of the Greek Gods?
