It takes about 5 hours, a normal head takes about 250 strands, with the right placement its undetectable. Her hair looked a bit weird after cause the texture didn't match... you can make your own with hair that is your texture. I've been doing them kinky straight for years! Hope I helped

these microlinks especially those with the metal clamps cuts the hair. i would not recommend anyone to do this cause it`s very pricey, takes too long and it damages your hair.

@EXOTICPACO is right. Those metal things hurt. they break your hair off and damages your scalp as you try to sleep. when your man wants to touch your hair he can feel it - even if he does not run his fingers thru your hair, just touching the outer hair can cause pain and embarrassment.

i do mine every 2-3 months, and it takes me about an hour to put 200 strands (full head)

I love this. mine only took like 3.5 hours and you can wash and condition like normal. when it grows like an inch, open the rings, slide them down closer to the scalp, close them back up again and keep it moving.

I've tried everything, glue sucks it hurts and takes your hair out. I have fine Hair, Micro Loop Hair Extentions are the best Hair extentions ever made. I do it myself but I've been a stylist for 20 years, it takes me about 5 hours, worth every minute. Talk to a stylist that knows the product before getting it done, or if your doing it yourself reseach the web, teach yourself. I order my Hair from China its the best and its cheap.

just a big fyi.....extensions does not grow your hair. that is entirely impossible. Its probably the lack of messing with your real hair that is causing it to grow or it can be the soft tension pulling on your scalp that is stimulating your scalp that is causing to grow.

This is the easiest method I have ever used. Not only was it undetectable but it helped my hair grow. Lasts the longest. Easiest way I've ever done. I'm 17...when I was 16 I did it on myself, turned out amazing. I did it on my mom too, again amazing. I'm black so yeah..it works with all hair. well a sew in is more work in the long run, especially if your hair is relaxed. you have to take sew in out, condition and treat hair, wait 2 weeks and get a retouch on relaxer then sew in hair hair. you can't even oil ur scalp or condition ur hair w/sew in. micro rings alllow u to take care of your ENTIRE head

Although this is an alternative to the sew-in, or glue in weave, it's not a very good extension technique in my opinion. Once all this work gets a few weeks old the piece that holds the hair on weakens or shows if the wind blows. And lord forbid if your hair grows fast, you really waisted your mone and time.

My friend didn't find it hard AT ALL and shes never done anything with extensions before. I only put in 100 hair entensions and to be honest it looks like crap!

Micro rings don't damage your hair when done correctly, and its hard to stuff it up, even when doing it yourself

To blend, have it cut to match your style [get a hairdresser to do this]If you are worried, most decent salons will install them if you allready have the hair, and only charge you for time.

I'm no professional but I've had extensions for years, I've tried everything [clips glue weft etc]. And these are the best thing i have ever used.

One last question, is there a reliable website that sell the micro links? I assume those are cheaper than the loop extensions. My local beauty store doesn't have neither of them.

I've seen videos that show this being done with the loop not attatched to the hair. They buy the rings separate and put the hair and ring in with a hair hook. Is that method temporary? Does it last as long as the loop attatched to he extension? Do I have to buy the loop extensions?
