First of all, i agree 100% that what Gaahl intended to do to Infernus is just plain wrong.

With that said, i DO think Gaahl (and King) brought something good to Gorgoroth. Despite what they tried to do, they did great musicwise.

i am american and i get black metal.totally get it.thats exactly why i say most of it is shit.this band is pretty cool but like i said-most are sloppy and totally rely on image instead of actually playing their instrument.any idiot can gallop pick for 6 minutes.rarely does a bands image match their skill as musicians.

When Satanic Warmaster gets out on the scene, his fat tummy discusting everyone in the crowd and wearing eyeglasses instead of corpse paint does that make him any less black metal then Italian clowns Nefarium with their fancy-schmancy suits and neat-o corpse paint? Even production-wise there are bands who can do good job but still keep the production at reasonable level.

Okay I might get a lot of thumbs down on this but it is how I truly feel.

First thing first, I LOVE Gorgoroth, and Pest is by far THE best vocalist that Gorgoroth has ever had and I'm really glad he is back

But... damn Pest is getting old (not that he can help it of course), in the live video of him with Gorgoroth in the mid-90's he was like a fucking beast tearing apart the arena... now he doesn't seem to have that kind of energy anymore -_-

because there's no continuity. it's basically a reunion. it doesnt make sense. its a whole new band claiming to be the same one, even if there are previous members in it. everything's changed but they're pretending it hasn't. (but ill admit that gaahl and king were much worse though. :P)
