  • wow... amazing

  • 92 year old woman driving a car. God bless all of us.

  • bible thummping cunts

  • It irritates me and really ticks me off that something as sweet and moving as this cause such an uproar! Why can't people just watch a video and be quiet.Unless, of course, commenting on how much you like it or something. One person says something offensive then the entire Youtube population that watches this has to argue! Some of you are older than me and don't step back and look at your conversations from another point of view and see that you're getting too worked up. Sadly,I can't type anymore

  • RE-POSTERS probably go to hell.

  • Lele Uk84: YO DO U KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS it means that she was lucky to witness that because god did not help her because then god would have to save all the poor people.

but in islam it says that gos is testing the poor by being poor and testing the rich with there money so what u witness god would test you on the way he wills

  • this nick guy came to my school for our journalism class.

  • Nice story, but this only would work for a criminal that believes in heaven and hell. and it doesnt matter if heaven and hell really exist or not.

  • She really shouldn't have a car, I bet she causes a wreck every other time she drives somewhere.

  • A very touching story of ministry to the truest degree. Living the faith you believe, reaching out to someone who needed to know God loved him despite his tough-guy facade. Loving the seemingly unlovable. You go girl! I pray that her would-be robber also receives the spiritual guidance from God that it's obvious he was really needing. Someone to actually listen and care. Isn't that all we all really want, after all? This is what living God's love is all about.

  • God is good all the time

  • Man that was awesome Amen to that

  • Guys, reading a Bible and praying isn't going to save your life or anyone else's. For every person that somehow avoids getting killed by preaching, there are 1000 others that will die.

  • That doesnt change what happened and what God did in this instance. As she said if she did get killed she would go to heaven.

    2 Corinthians 5:8

8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Mark 1:14Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

  • Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Jesus saves those who put their trust in Him, its a gift and it doesnt come from reading the bible and praying.

  • maybe it was not best to say you will go to hell... but it got his attention and it was probably true.

  • Thank God for those who witness to others.........This is the message Jesus tells us - Go out into the world!

  • God is in control!

  • this is good that the old lady did not get shot, but telling the guy he would go to hell and she would go to heaven is where it starts getting weird for me.

  • Mankind is not right with God. We have all wronged him and fallen short of his perfection. His perfect justice needs to be done. One can either accept the payment of that 'fine' by Jesus Christ on the cross, or they will hang on the cross themselves and suffer the infinite wrath of perfect justice in hell.

The only reason you get weirded out by such talk is because God gave you that sense of justice too, but sin has corrupted it to make you think that God's goodness is bad and vise versa.

  • i just don't believe it is as clear cut as "if you shoot me you will go to hell" she is not God, therefore who is she to say that? He may be a bad man, but what if the man has mental illness or some other uncontrollable reason for the robbery? Don't get me wrong i do not endorse robbing old ladies, I'm just saying that good and evil are not as black and white as some people make it out to be.

  • @shylomike: If you haven't read the New Testament, I implore that you read it before believing what other people tell you. You'll find that good people don't go to heaven; forgiven people go to heaven. Nobody can be good enough to earn it--it's a gift. It's not our standard, so it doesn't matter what we make it out to be.

  • Nobody told me anything, that's just what i believe in my heart, and as far as reading the new testament, it has been rewritten and things have been added/extracted to the point that it no longer says the same thing as when it was written, i believe in a kind God that does not send people to hell based on ones ability to follow a book. Good people deserve good and good people that do bad things deserve love and guidance to bring them into light, not to be threatened with an eternity in hell. IMO

  • @shylomike, your analysis of the NT is completely wrong. There is an abundance of scholarship against your position and a load of shoddy work favoring your opinion. It is amazingly reliable, and no matters of doctrine are affected by the accidental/intentional changes that can be traced through manual transmission.

God is Loving and JUST. Justice must be served. We have offended his perfect nature and need to pay. But His Son Jesus, the Christ, paid the price for all who believe in his work.

  • That is your opinion and that is fine, according to Wikipedia there are some 38,000 denominations that call themselves Christians, they all have different way of teaching the bible, and many have their own versions of the bible, otherwise they would all be the same, therefore it is really difficult to say who is doing it right, that is why i avoid the issue and do what is right for me. That is all i can say.

  • Shylomike, unless you want to be "shallowmike" do some research to find just what defines a denomination. There are 2 key issues that separate denominations: Theology and governmental structure. What you miss in your dismissal is that many denominations believe the same core truths of Christianity but disagree on secondary issues, practices & non-essentials. Bad excuse for rejection.

My analysis of the NT is based on verifiable facts of research and supported details. It is not opinion.

  • You can say that your opinions are fact, but it is still just an opinion, funny how that works isn't it? The only fact is that you, or anyone alive for that matter, were alive in the time of Christ, therefore no amount of research and so-called "facts" that you have mean anything. Why can't you have faith for faiths sake and stop trying to tell me what is right when you have no authority over the subject? The subject being what I believe. Have a nice day, don't go to hell. ;-)

  • There is a trail of factual historical evidence back to the time of the time of Christ. I do not need to defend this position. Take a pastor from today, ask him about his favorite christian figure from his generation, research that preacher's influences, and the next one's and on and on. You have an unbroken chain of people, as well as textual evidence and secular history that support the Gospel accounts.

To deny this is the blindest of blind faith. I pray for your eyes to be opened.

  • Apparently you never played the game in school where the teacher tells a student a sentence and then they have to tell the next student in line and so on until it reaches the last student, at which point the sentence rarely sounds anything like the original sentence. The bible is like that, except instead of a 5 min. game between a few people, it is many many people over a couple thousand years. If you don't need to defend your position why did you reply to my comment in the fist place?!?!

  • I defended it because I NEEDED to do so for your sake, though since it's plain to see I SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO defend it.

And wow, please spare yourself the embarrassment of likening the Bible with the game of Telephone. The big difference is that we have written records of each message transmission. This makes it clear to see if/how the latter copies changed from the earlier ones. And the conclusion is that they HAVE NOT CHANGED in any significant way. What you read is accurate.

    Rom 1:18

  • For my sake? I think not. You did it for your own self righteousness. Do not fool yourself into thinking you are helping me in any way. I fully respect your beliefs and you should follow your book, but keep it to yourself. putting a bible verse under your message has no meaning for me. have your faith, but let me have mine. Being ridiculed by people like you makes me all the stronger in my convictions. Love is the only thing we have. The day the world sees that is the day we have peace.

  • I did need to defend it for your sake, because you obviously exemplify that you do not comprehend the situation in any sophisticated manner. I'm not interested in winning an argument, I'm interested in having your dig deeper. Your beliefs are unsophisticated platitudes.

Maybe I'm wrong in what I believe, but I have far more legitimate reasons to believe what I do than you have to believe what you do. That's why I implore you to dig to find the truth.

    Rom 5:8 THAT'S love. Open a Bible & read.

  • The only reason my beliefs are "unsophisticated platitudes" is because they are not your beliefs. Perhaps you are the one who should did deeper and open your so called love to everyone, not just people that agree with you. Its funny that you say your beliefs are justified and mine are not when i have said nothing about what i believe. I don't believe that old lady had the right to condemn that man to hell. SORRY

"The lord is my Shepard, he know what I want"

    Open you mind

  • You have shared plenty regarding your beliefs: a "kind god," the "telephone" nature of the NT records, "good people" needing 2 b "lead into the light." These are your own beliefs not based in any revelation of God. You have no right to tell what God should or shouldn't do. In all human history the best & most sufficient system for belief in God is Christianity, which is VERY B&W on good & evil, rooted in rich historic facts, and highly rational to believe in. Open minds w/o discernment are dead.

  • Such hostility. It is sickening when God is used as a weapon and fear tactic by people like you that wish to impose their believes on people that have no use for them.

Are you one of those people that thinks the earth is 6000 years old? Dinosaurs walked with humans? that the billions of non-Christians on earth will go to hell, and all the other bs your book makes you believe in order to go to "heaven" how "highly rational." which of the 38,000 denominations are you anyway?

  • Presenting facts is hostility? You are the one sinking to accusations and slander (eg 6kyrs, dinosaurs w/ humans). Your caricatures only serve to push yourself into a corner.

God is Love & He is perfectly Just. Because He Loves this means that He HATES sin & injustice. His perfect Justice needs to be served: Punished & made right.

He loves so much that He freely came as Jesus Christ 2 live a perfect life yet DIE FOR OUR SINS. Hell is for all who choose to take God's judgment upon themselves.

  • I like how you dodge my questions. anyway i am done with this back and forth. I guess i will see all the billions of other non-Christians in hell, regardless of how i live my life to the best of my ability and with love for everyone. I am condemned for the simple fact that I do not take a 2000 year old book of fables as my God. Have a nice life judging others in an attempt to satisfy your own self righteousness.

  • Hallelujah!!! Praise to God!!!

  • Jesus came to save and love the lost. Through Jesus Christ blood we can be all be reconcile back to God. When a person repents and by faith comes back to God.Every wicked spirit of hell will flee the repenting person. The repented person becomes a child of God and a vessel now for God's glory. Born again!
