  • my comment was intended to be sarcastic i don't actually believe that. However, I do believe that there is no political solution for the war in Iraq

  • I think we should just bomb the crap out of iraq... there problem solved, and after that maybe we can bomb russia too haha but seriously every single iraqi is involved or has been involved or is going to be involved with terrorist activities. so just put them out of there misery.

  • our government is the lawlessness they don't even follow the constitution

  • you dont get it do you

  • i am in the military and i would die fighting for this country. but we arent fighting for this country, we are fighting for a piece of shit sandbox which most american's will never see. the usa is not the worlds mediators, thats what the UN was designed for. pull out the troops!

  • there may not be a political solution in iraq. but we sure as hell know there is no military solution in iraq. The Unites States defeated Nazi Germany in four years. Five years into operation iraqi freedom and what have we accomplished? not much. wtf! we gotta get outta there, its a lost cause, the iraqi people wanna kill each other? let em. but dont approve of us letting our soldiers get caught in the crossfire.

  • The nightmare will begin when the US leaves. What do you see at the outcome of a withdrawl of American troops?

  • The political problems in Iraq are what CAUSE the disorder. There is no real, respected centralized state, it's just a facade being held together by the American military. The political nature of Iraq is tribal, ethnic, religious and heavily localized. The centralized government is also viewed as taking orders from America. Without solving both of these issues, no amount of troops or security will do anything

  • You raise a good point...and, perhaps in the end religious and tribal sectarianism will triumph. But we don't know for certain at this point. A good number of Iraqi's participated in the elections and a military response is the only practical option to counter the lawlessness that no prevails.

  • No acctually it's not a practical option, its a wrong headed option because it doesn't address the source of the so called "lawlessness" in order to acctually solve it. Using the military to keep factions from having their civil war is just putting troops in the middle so they can get shot. The Iraqis will fight anyway, we can either get caught in the crossfire or let them solve their problems through whatever means they see fit.

  • The source of the lawlessness is the desire by the various factions in Iraq to get vengeance for grievances, to segregate their own neighborhoods, to support their own agendas and in many cases to get American influenced forces to leave. We therefore solve that by leaving and giving Iraq the liberty to fight and decide it's own destiny. That's a practical solution. The military solution just has no meat to it.

  • @chrispollock Thats the first unbiased comment i have ever seen on youtube. usually its a bunch of republican or democratic chanter trying to bash the other side...Very nice..and i agree with you.
