  • We have a minimum wage, safety standards etc so why pay union corruption ? It's not 1920's any more. Socialism puts limits on how much you make ,,work ,,or can do. Oh so does the union. If you want to pay a fee to stay employed , pay yourself.

  • By all means let us fight corruption in unions, as we would in the police department, the congress, corporations, etc. But let us not do away with unions, as they give power to workers in the face of corporations. Without unions, the only power that remains is in corporate money and the government that it buys.

  • @Anglagard1

I can agree with that! There is too much corruption in government, police etc

But without unions, what's to prevent the mechanism to pull down worker wages? Without represntation? We've already seen the actions of Scott Walker & other republicans. They're outright hostile and their only interest is to benefit those at the top and to put more money in their pockets at OUR expense

wihout anyone to fight on our behalf, we'd just have the republicans roll all over us

  • maybe the illegal aliens taking over arcadia wis can start a union soon too.

  • "We the People" will stand against our own while the economic upper class fuck us 'till we like it. Worker's rights BAD, wage slavery and disparity GOOD.

  • these unions pigs live off tax-payer so they can get lavish benefits.

  • I have to agree. This commercial is childish. It sounds like something from Laugh-in. I am a union member and have benefited from collective bargaining. I also saw my father on the picket lines during Christmas when his union decided to call a strike. He worked for the newspapers in New York. Look how many are left. One by one union demands priced these papers out of existence. Now public employee unions and the democrats are in bed together. Wisconsin needs to win this one for our future.

  • Much respect and appreciation for showing leadership on this, but this is a horrible commercial. This is not something the unions don't want us to see -- no doubt they would fund its airing as it really makes their opposition look foolish. Please go back to the drawing board on this. If you held a contest for the best video response to this, you may find something worth while. But it would be hard to look any sillier than this.

  • This commercial does not pack the punch I was hoping to see. We need facts, not dudes wearing pig masks. I support the cause but this commercial is retarded.

  • Unions are what gave working class Americans a better life, a 40 hour work week, benefits and the American Dream. If you're looking for corruption, look at our politicians. They have spent us into oblivion and are now pitting us against each other. Teachers' wages are NOT the source of our financial woes. What a joke! This is a smoke screen to divide us, and conquer us. Don't fall for this nonsense.

  • On May 2nd, 1933, Nazi groups occupied union halls and labor leaders were arrested. Trade Unions were outlawed by Adolf Hitler, while collective bargaining and the right to strike was abolished. This was the beginning of a consolidation of power by the fascist regime which systematically wiped out all opposition political groups and unions using Himmler’s state police.

  • @803brando

Thank you for stating this, you're exactly right. You aren't blinded by the b.s. going on here.

  • @803brando so you dont support liberals then...they cant handle 1 news channel that aint on there side

  • I love these planted comments... "This ad is vague, needs to be more clear, terrible spot." The sooner to realize how dumb you sound, the better. It's not healthy to keep denying it. I know you are going to try to defend yourself now. Before you waste the time TRYING, know this... it doesn't matter what you say in your defense. People are waking up and now outnumber you.

  • Everyone will know this advertisement is all lies... the unions in Wisconsin gave the governor EVERYTHING he asked for, including wage freezes, contributions for healthcare and retirement, etc. To make matters worse, it's widely known that compared apples-to-apples (level of education, employment history, etc.), government employees are compensated less (including pay and benefits) than people employed in the private sector.

    STOP the lies!!!

  • Too aggressive. Be logical

  • I agree - too vague - Use facts and data - explain how the unions suck up the money, minimize the work output, and maximize the benefits to the members all to the detriment of the tax payers... it really is about getting paid a fair wage and benefits package, not a superior one.

  • you need to work on this, it's time to start naming names, thieves don't like to hear their name called and their crooked deals exposed, you ad starts ok but it's time to take off the gloves and get down and dirty, use the same tactics that they do and they will scatter like the cockroaches in the day light.

  • i have to agree. i hate unions and think they are morally and ethically wrong...not to mention corrupt to the core, but the ad could have had a much stronger message, more direct message, and more intimidating to the unions message. work on it, please? this is pretty bad. (do you guys not have a copywriter around??)

  • I support Gov. Walker, but I hope any donations don't go to the people who made this ad. The spot is terrible. Have to agree with karla Payne, the ad is Lame. The be more blunt looks like an ad a group of 5th graders put togeather, yhis ad wouldn't influence anyone. It Sucks as an Ad. Come on, JEEEZZ

  • wonderful!

  • Please, please, please, keep exposing the corrupt unions - especially the Teachers Unions that are stealing the future for our children.

  • @duckmcnutty agreed

  • @duckmcnutty

that doesnt even make any sense. How are unions stealing our children's future? In fact, the OPPOSITE is true. I work for DWP with a STRONG union backing me. W/o it, I wouldnt have any job security, no health benefits, no stability and I could be let go at will with NO REASON whatsoever.

So BECAUSE I have union backing, both I and my CHILDREN are SECURE. They have benefits, and I have job stability not to mention 6 figure income, more DI contributed to consumer spending

  • @duckmcnutty

  • @duckmcnutty

so explain to ME how unions are stealing our childrens future if my job stability, my 6 figure income, my health benefits, have in fact CONTRIBUTED to inrpoved welfare of my family?

if you're going to make outrageous claims, you need to back them up. Just tell the truth: you've never had anything to do with a union in your life and are just badmouthing them in order to weaken contributions to the Democrat party

like the sticker says "work union, LIVE BETTER"

  • EXCELLENT!!

  • While I fully support Scott Walker, I thought the ad was pretty lame.
