@josefranciscocool True, but that older transmitter operates on a different frequency band all-together than what the current generation of Blade helis operate on.
im thinking in buying this heli, i have a syma s107g and i want to move forward to 4ch... i was thinking in a msr or sr 120 but then i started thinking that i have no experience with 4ch so this is the best trainer one out there!
I was wondering what was a good beginner helicopter? I have a blade scout and the mcx. What I need is a durable helicopter more than anything. My only problem with the mcx us that the parts break so easily. however I love the blade scout. If there is a good helicopter for the level I'm at could you please tell me which one?
yes indeed cool vid. I just bought my blade mcx2 from my local hobby shop willis hobby in long island with tax $132 dollars. I came home my wife looking at me like what is you crazy. I said nope when you get me mad i just play with something to take my mind off of things. I will play with my new mcx2 this afternoon. Im a beginner i had 2 cheap rc helicopters. One was a Syma 107g and the other a skytech m2 both are garbage heavy metal things. Now i have the real deal not that cheap mall one
@rc18trocks You can, however only for the ultra micro gear. The included transmitter is what's called a low-power transmitter so it will have less range than say a DX6i or DX7. If you're going to fly bigger park flier gear I wouldn't recommend it.
which one of the mcx2 and the msr would you recomend for a guy that have no experience with helis, just the crapy two chanel play helis, but have a lot of experience with planes though?
I want a heli that I can fly indoors now in the winter season that can take some crashes, fun to fly and not gets bored fast. which?
I am a 1st timer as well. i just bought he MCX2 and it's really easy to deal with. i was considering buying the simulator for $199 for the PC with the controller, but decided a real toy for $129 would be way better. this is day 2 for me, and i can take it through the archway window in my kitchen and around and back out. I have creamed it against the wall, tables, chairs and the dog grabbed it mid flight. it still hovers straight. i accidentally had to rebind it once and that's easy 2
just a quick question i have recently bought the carbon tail boom and when i put it on i have the weight and the 2 rubber stoppers on but the tail shakes so much and im not sure why please help :(!
@mpass007 I haven't flown it with that modification so I don't know. I would contact product support to see if they have some tips for you. The number is 877-504-0233
Hi, i find that when i fly my MCX2 with the DX5e it tends to spin faster left than right. furthermore it will roll faster left than right is that a normal side affect or could i fix that?
More power and much better performance is definitely the way to go on the mCX2. Great for many scale body application while allowing ease of control to the first time pilot. Highly recommend it if you are looking to get into RC helicopters and want something small and easy to control. Check out some of my scale body videos with the Blade mCX -mSR helis.
Has blade seperated from E-Flite? I know there still the exact same because all the HH employes work for pretty much every brand of HH, but have they? I keep seeing all this stuff about BLADE and the new logo and stuff. I like it, an the box. Better then the old plain ones.
@HorizonRCdotCom Well, I live in uk. but, I called the shop where i got it and they sent me a new axle which the screws lock well. but i just Ca glue them in on the old one
@p3x197 Not being funny mate but why did you ask about the extra 300 landing gear wheel nuts if you have got them all sorted out now? now going to check your channel out as i'd like to see that 300 in flight and maybe sub ;-)
does the rtf version can bind to a 6-Channel CCPM Pro Transmitter FM 72MHz: BCPP or do i need a bnf version???
josefranciscocool 2 weeks ago
@josefranciscocool You can only bind Spektrum DSM2-equipped transmitters to Blade Helicopters so your transmitter would not work.
HorizonRCdotCom 2 weeks ago
@HorizonRCdotCom but i dont get it, the transmitter i mention is from the same company (blade) XD anyways thanks for answering

myslash09 7 months ago
@myslash09 Correct. Since there's no CCPM there's no reason for using heli mode. This is the same with the mCX2, mCX, Tandem, CX2, CX3 and others.

i just got mine today and already have the controls down and am looking at getting the msr

@DirkME1022 It is not a DSM transmitter, simply 2.4GHz. Sorry but it is not compatible.
