One of the things that made me fall in love with the ROD franchise was the first time I heard this theme on the OVA. They actually managed to out-John Barry the inestimable John Barry!

I remember reading several years back about a possible third ROD series, other than Die or Dream. Guess it never happened. Shame. The series kinda fell apart in the second half, but I would like more. It was good, they could make a better one.

The series didn't fall apart in the second half, it became a completely different show. It becomes dark, then very dark, then kind of a mindfuck but the ending is sooo worth it.
