I didn't even know that Ouran had english dub *i am not american* but after see your video i really wanted to see Ouran again and when i searched for Ouran with english subs accidentally i see the english version, and I really hate Kristine voice's i was waiting for Chieko's voice and then I had a shock when i listened to her.. And after i realized that i was seeing a english version of Ouran i listened to her singing thinking... You're WAY better!

I really like your voice but I have to make one small suggestion, especially for this particular song. The harmonies were really good but it seemed like there may have been more than one layer? If I am wrong then feel free to correct me but it seemed to take away from the main vocals. Also, the "maybe you're my love" might have been better without the harmonies, at most just one. Just a personal observation.

I mean, even when she sings the opening line, her voice pretty much just drops when she sings "love" and when I first heard it, I could already feel dread.

Her voice is just all over the place, and although I feel that her voice finally comes together during the middle of the song, the beginning is just unforgivable.

Hmm your version is definitely more stable than the official English version, but at the same time Sa's version had a lot of strong emotion that made it fun to listen to, despite it's flaws. Just my opinion, though I imagine the majority's is on the contrary.

Also, I have to agree with other comments that while this dub did cover the problems that were mentioned in the description talking about the official theme, I didn't feel the strength that the original theme gave. I do like this rendition, just that it feels a bit different. XP;

@kh34everKache There is a difference between a translation of a song and a sung version of a song in a different language. Funimation always tries to keep the translation the same in the subs. Now, whether those subs are right or not I am not going to argue. As far as their song dubs go though, it is not intended to be a translation.
