The cream & powder foundation works amazingly!! It gives me a flawless and matte finish. It stays on a long time. I didn't think it would, since I have combo.-oily skin and it has EVOO. After removing the make up, it leaves my face so soft. I'm amazed. I don't think much people out there know about this product. I learned about these products from you & I'm glad I came across this video and convinced myself to try it out.

i just got their tea tree oil spot concealer and the extra virgin loose powder and it is amazing! it's worked wonders on my skin it looks so SO natural and even though i'm still using their liquid foundation.. uh it's just sooo good :O. i'm switching to the extra virgin foundation when i run out.
The Body Shop is having a $20 for $40 deal on Groupon right now! I just got it. I got it when they last had this deal too - love getting to try more of their makeup and save money :) I think I will try this from the Extra Virgin line since it seems to have the most coverage.
if you want to help your acne try using extra virgin olive oil... rub it on your face for 10 min ( with or without makeup on already) it gets rid of all the dirt blackheads etc. you can literally feel the blackheads coming out.. next what i do (at night) is mix water and baking soda and do a spot treatment and leave it on overnight ... it will dry out the pimples in just a couple days depending on how bad it is .. good luck :) xoxo

if you dont mind me saying but you have just spread your spots by using the wand from your concealer and also putting your foundation brush back into the the foundation, you really need to wash the brushes after every use or have a set of two, otherwise all the creams in the world wont get rid of them.
@adelineismyname The oils in your skin (sebum) are different than olive oil. Olive oil particles are too big to fit through your pores and clog them, whereas sebum particles are smaller. Most fruit, vegetable, and natural oils will not clog your pores for this reason. :)

You could also try to avoid touching your hair and then your face, touching your brushes and make sure to wash your hands and your brushes every time you put on make-up, so you won't spread the bacteria around your face and cause more pimples. Your skin looks WAY better than mine used to! I started putting alcohol on it (70% isopropyl) once a day with cotton wool and I have no breakouts anymore. Doesn't work for everyone, but it helped me. Anyway I must try this foundation! It looks fantastic on you!!
Anna, there is another beauty guru called gossmakeupartist and he is amazing and he made a video on how to clear acne in a week or something! you should definitely check it out and theres another video by a makep artist called lisaeldridgedotcom and she made a video on of a foundation routine for acne prone skin and its amazin! and both these people are professionale makeup artists. you should really check them out :)
it seems that the fountation is too dark and too yellow for you. I hope its just the camera. We don't want you to use the wrong shade on your wedding;)
This may sound slightly odd but you should consider using some Desitin cream if you have it there. If not that, some other kind of white, thick diaper rash cream. It clears up acne, takes away the pain associated with pimples and diminishes them overnight. It might help you for your wedding. Its also very cheap!
@klarsen117 Absolutely. Desitin works amazingly well. Try it overnight and it should reduce redness.
For quick redness reduction on the go (say you're up and you have ten minutes to get ready) putting a few drops of Visine on a cotton pad and pressing into the skin will remove redness quickly.
For painful/red acne though, diaper rash cream is fantastic, natural and non irritating.
I'm sure you don't care what people like "jackfallum" say anymore, cuz clearly hes being an idiot ... But even with acne you're pretty. I love all your vids and your personality is amazing. Love you!!
for pale skinned people, Revlon do really light shades of foundation. I have very pale skin and i couldn't find any brand that makes shades light enough even the more expensive makes. I was delighted to find the right match, and I even got the second lightest shade! there is hope for us pale people!
For my skin care routine, I use Murad Clarifying Cleanser, Murad Post Acne Serum and Murad Complete Reform. This, by far, has been the best regime for my acne. Scars are almost non existent and I do not break out as much (even under stress or hormonal changes). Also, I take Biotin and have seen a huge improvement on skin, hair and nails.
How does this do for oily skin? I really want to try it out but not sure it'd be compatible with my skin, aren't cream foundations usually quite oily, so better suited to dryer skin types?

Hey Anna, do you plan on wearing a base under your fondation for the wedding ? I think it would help you. The Maybelline one ( Instant Anti Age, don't remember the whole name ) is great ! It makes the skin flawless, and hides any blemish and helps the foundation to stay on !
hey Anna! you should try Clean&Clear deep cleansing lotion for sensitive skin (it's light blue, stay away from the purple one) it cleaned my face so nicely and I've had really bad skin. Have an amazing wedding! Hugs, kisses&cookies from Croatia! ;)
you know something that might help with your acne is birth control. obviously you dont have to take it for the birth control aspect, but it really helped clear up my skin. i had been on it for 4 years and just recently got off of it due to not being able to afford it and my skin went back to what it was when i was 17, really spotty and bumpy :( but it really helps control your acne and clears it up and also reduces the pain of cramping, etc. :)
Anna, when you are back from the wedding, visit a specialist (dermatologist!). Use products that are non comedogenic and oil free! and stick with it! :) Avène is a great brand for example. When you are 23, acné is not 'normal'. Trust me, I've been there and I'm 26. My dermatologist SAVED my life! :))) A suggestion! Because I think you are awesome! <3 Bad English, Sorrrry! xo
I'm scared of the olive oil in the foundation... :( has anyone had problems breaking out with this product? I usually will just use mineral make up and use a drop of rose water in the lid and mix it all up and apply it much like a liquid foundation... first stipple it on then buff it out... then conceal and use blush the same way and then use like a mineral veil to top it off (i use elf's booster)
to treat acne, use the paula's choice 3 step acne system regular strength!!!! i have used it since i had random hormonal acne (like painful cystic-like acne) in my mid 20s. it's ammmaaazing!! i saw results in the first few days and my eruptions were probably cured in 2 weeks. now i have maybe 3 dark acne scars on my face from more than 15 and bad redness. i can't recommend it enough and i've bought it for friends!!! you really have nothing to lose, it's gentle and for sensitive skin too!
No offense to anyone but she has had training with makeup. She has a certificate and she has taken beauty school, so for people who are picking at little things like for example make a big deal about things like her mascara or other little things, just let her be, she knows what she is doing, she has been trained.
You shouldn't wear foundation with SPF for your wedding because it photographs really poorly, especially with flash photography. It will reflect the light and make you look crazy white.
I had acne as well and what cured my skin fast was Philosophy's purity cleanser!!! it works amazingly!!! you should give it a try before your wedding and I Know you wont regret the purchase....the big bottle cost me $40 and last about a year!!!

Very pretty on you, Anna! I still love that Sara makeup on you too. But, you know what works best/feels best for you! (smile). I only had one occasion with bumps in my late teens - I was breaking out around my mouth area and I got on Erno Lazlo and it cleared up, but that line is NOT the same now. Then, later on, I had what looked like acne from wearing a perfumed Estee L. foundation, so I switched and it cleared up. So, I think sometimes products can cause it. Thank you for the tips!
@Lindsy02Star Suprisingly, acne comes out more with dry skin... SHOCKING I know, but it's true! Of course too much isn't good, but yes moisturising is very important.
@tammimarie i never said there was oil in it..cream foundation is generally heavier on the skin..having acne prone skin, you don't want anything heavy because you want your skin to breathe, and not letting your skin breathe causes your skin to produce more oil instead of giving the pores time to dry up.
Great video anna (: I don't really have acne, but i find it difficult when i'm at working, cus i work in a hot kitchen at a fast food restaurant. I get really greasy and my make up never stays on :( Any tips? :)
Anyway, have you considered taking omega-3 supplements for your pimples? It really does work for inflammation. I pretty much take them every day for my acne, but they work pretty fast. They have fish oil and flax seed oil versions, but the most important part is the omega-3 content. I guess they're probably not as popular overseas because people eat more fish, but it's worth looking into if you're in a pinch :)

I read the ingredients of the EVM foundation and realized that it contains olive oil.Wont it causes more acne if I have oily skin?

Hi two things you need to know one is that foundation has an spf15 don't use that on ur wedding day unless u want to be ghostly white in ur photos, please watch Lisa Eldridge video on covering spots blemishes u never cover the blemish first u

Yes, that is the right foundation for your wedding! Your skin looks amazing! As I have some hyperpigmentation spots on my cheeks and hate to put on tons of make up, I would like to try this one out. Un fortunately it's not available in Germany right now...

Hey Anna, do you plan on wearing a base under your fondation for the wedding ? I think it would help you. The Maybelline one ( Instant Anti Age, don't remember the whole name ) is great ! It makes the skin flawless, and hides any blemish and helps the foundation to stay on !

hey Anna! you should try Clean&Clear deep cleansing lotion for sensitive skin (it's light blue, stay away from the purple one) it cleaned my face so nicely and I've had really bad skin. Have an amazing wedding! Hugs, kisses&cookies from Croatia! ;)

you know something that might help with your acne is birth control. obviously you dont have to take it for the birth control aspect, but it really helped clear up my skin. i had been on it for 4 years and just recently got off of it due to not being able to afford it and my skin went back to what it was when i was 17, really spotty and bumpy :( but it really helps control your acne and clears it up and also reduces the pain of cramping, etc. :)

You should try not to use any makeup with SPF Anna! SPF makes you look as white as a ghost in photos, as does Zinc! :(

Anna, when you are back from the wedding, visit a specialist (dermatologist!). Use products that are non comedogenic and oil free! and stick with it! :) Avène is a great brand for example. When you are 23, acné is not 'normal'. Trust me, I've been there and I'm 26. My dermatologist SAVED my life! :))) A suggestion! Because I think you are awesome! <3 Bad English, Sorrrry! xo

I'm scared of the olive oil in the foundation... :( has anyone had problems breaking out with this product? I usually will just use mineral make up and use a drop of rose water in the lid and mix it all up and apply it much like a liquid foundation... first stipple it on then buff it out... then conceal and use blush the same way and then use like a mineral veil to top it off (i use elf's booster)

to treat acne, use the paula's choice 3 step acne system regular strength!!!! i have used it since i had random hormonal acne (like painful cystic-like acne) in my mid 20s. it's ammmaaazing!! i saw results in the first few days and my eruptions were probably cured in 2 weeks. now i have maybe 3 dark acne scars on my face from more than 15 and bad redness. i can't recommend it enough and i've bought it for friends!!! you really have nothing to lose, it's gentle and for sensitive skin too!

No offense to anyone but she has had training with makeup. She has a certificate and she has taken beauty school, so for people who are picking at little things like for example make a big deal about things like her mascara or other little things, just let her be, she knows what she is doing, she has been trained.

the best way to apply powder is with a puff or sponge. kabuki brushes only move concealer, messing up the makeup

You shouldn't wear foundation with SPF for your wedding because it photographs really poorly, especially with flash photography. It will reflect the light and make you look crazy white.

I had acne as well and what cured my skin fast was Philosophy's purity cleanser!!! it works amazingly!!! you should give it a try before your wedding and I Know you wont regret the purchase....the big bottle cost me $40 and last about a year!!!

Very pretty on you, Anna! I still love that Sara makeup on you too. But, you know what works best/feels best for you! (smile). I only had one occasion with bumps in my late teens - I was breaking out around my mouth area and I got on Erno Lazlo and it cleared up, but that line is NOT the same now. Then, later on, I had what looked like acne from wearing a perfumed Estee L. foundation, so I switched and it cleared up. So, I think sometimes products can cause it. Thank you for the tips!

@Lindsy02Star Suprisingly, acne comes out more with dry skin... SHOCKING I know, but it's true! Of course too much isn't good, but yes moisturising is very important.

@tammimarie i never said there was oil in it..cream foundation is generally heavier on the skin..having acne prone skin, you don't want anything heavy because you want your skin to breathe, and not letting your skin breathe causes your skin to produce more oil instead of giving the pores time to dry up.

Ahh, the lightest color seems too dark for me -_-
Anyway, have you considered taking omega-3 supplements for your pimples? It really does work for inflammation. I pretty much take them every day for my acne, but they work pretty fast. They have fish oil and flax seed oil versions, but the most important part is the omega-3 content. I guess they're probably not as popular overseas because people eat more fish, but it's worth looking into if you're in a pinch :)
